"The Race sucked. The bad outweighed the good. I'll never come back on the show again," DeAngelo vented in a confessional, before telling Phil, "The money wasn't life-changing for me."
The Amazing Race broadcast began with the Final 4 teams leaving Siem Reap, Cambodia.
"Pro Volleyball Players" Riley McKibbin and Maddison McKibbin left the Siem Reap Pit Stop in first place at 2PM and were required to fly to Manila, the capital city of the Philippines and one of the first countries to adopt texting.
Upon landing, teams were instructed to find Phil Keoghan downtown at Lapu Lapu Circle.
"Dating Couple" Will Jardell and James Wallington departed in second place at 2:52PM, and the guys hoped Gary and DeAngelo would get eliminated so that their alliance members would all make it to the Final 3.
"Married Parents" Chee Lee and Hung Nguyen took off in third place at 3:38PM and then they were followed by Gary and DeAngelo at 3:55PM.
Gary and DeAngelo said it was every team for themselves in this leg of the Race because no one wanted to give up their spot in the Final 3.
All four teams boarded the same flight to Manila, and Chee admitted it was weird to see Phil at the beginning of a leg.

Once the teams gathered together with Phil, he explained they were about to take part "in a city sprint" for the first time in The Amazing Race history. The teams had to race through chaotic city traffic as fast as they could, with no Roadblocks or Detours.

Phil said every challenge would be done as a team and speed would matter the most.
Phil told the teams they would also finish this leg of the Race in the same spot at Lapu Lapu Circle, which would serve as the starting point and the Pit Stop of the leg.
The teams were instructed to find their next set of clues in nearby jeepneys, and the clue asked them to solve a riddle, which led them to a police man directing traffic in the middle of the busy streets with his red and yellow gloves.
Gary and DeAngelo assumed they were looking for a specific traffic light, but then they ended up figuring it out.
However, Riley and Maddison grabbed their next clue in first place, followed by Gary and DeAngelo, Will and James and then Hung and Chee.
Will and James and Hung and Chee had to circle back through traffic multiple times because they couldn't get close enough to the traffic cop to be handed their next clue.

The teams proceeded to the Mall of Asia, where Riley and Maddison learned they must run a 500-meter dash in high heels. After completing the marked course, they could continue forward.

Afterward, teams were instructed to head to the Binondo Arch of Goodwill, the oldest China town in the world where dancing lions move in the streets to bring people good luck and prosperity.
The teams had to search amongst the dancing lions in the street and find one with a clue in its mouth.
Gary and DeAngelo were running in first place after finding their lion clue quickly, and then Will and James jumped to second place.
Meanwhile, Hung and Chee really struggled to find any lion statues at all.
Teams proceeded to the post office and discovered horse-drawn carriages. Once there, teams had to feed the horses by searching the grounds for grass and other necessary ingredients -- including water -- to mix inside a bucket.
Riley and Maddison arrived at the horses in third place, followed by Hung and Chee.

Will and James finished the task in first place, but Riley and Maddison jumped ahead of DeAngelo and Gary when they got the job done in no time.
Teams proceeded to Mehan Garden Manila, where the Racers were required to listen to a band play a medley of songs.
This challenge -- the most difficult one of the leg -- asked the teams to identify four pieces of music they had heard while racing across the world and then look for four music cases identified with flags representing the four countries in which they had heard those songs.
Song 1 was from France, Song 2 was heard in Colombia, Song 3 was played in Paraguay, and the Song 4 was played in Trinidad and Tobago.
The boxes must also be presented in the order in which they had heard those songs during the Race in order to receive their next clue.

Gary and DeAngelo didn't even remember hearing the songs, and all teams took multiple attempts to try to finish the task.
"Once we realized how hard this was going to be, we decided that we had to work with our alliance," Will explained. "We had to."

Will and James therefore worked with Riley and Maddison and Hung and Chee to figure out the challenge. The three teams put their heads together to try to conquer the task, leaving Gary and DeAngelo alone to fend for themselves.
The alliance of three teams realized the only thing that was important was completing this leg, not winning it, and making it to the Final 3 in the finale.
Gary and DeAngelo could hear the other teams whispering and helping each other, so the guys were surprised they had been kicked out of the alliance.
"That sucks dude," DeAngelo said.
"They're all scared of us!" Gary noted, although that's not why the other three teams had banded together.
As fans are well aware, the alliance of three teams had been closer all along because they didn't think Gary and DeAngelo pulled their weight in challenges and helped others throughout the Race.
Will and James and Hung and Chee discovered at the same exact time they had to arrange the music cases in the order of which they had heard the music during the Race, not in the order the band was playing the tunes.
Hung and Chee shared their knowledge with Riley and Maddison, who then completed the task in first place.

The teams then raced to the Pit Stop about a half-mile away. Gary and DeAngelo had no idea how to do the task, so they decided to take a two-hour time penalty and just wait it out.
"That alliance has been going on since Leg 2. We worked together and trusted each other," Gary said.
"Right, and then that came back to bite us in the ass here in this last leg. But at the end of this Race, one team is going to be happy and 10 teams are going to be pissed," DeAngelo explained.
Riley and Maddison met Phil in first place and won a spot in the finale. They won the past three legs of The Amazing Race and assumed they could definitely win the final leg.
Will and James S.epped on the Pit Stop mat in second place, and then Hung and Chee arrived in third place.
The Top 3 teams celebrated together at the Pit Stop and yelled and cheered. Hung and Chee expressed how they were glad they had trusted the other two teams all along.
Phil then revealed they'd be flying to New Orleans, LA, in the United States with upgraded plane tickets for the last leg of the Race. Riley and Maddison gushed about how the finale was going to be "an epic battle" amongst friends.
Once Gary and DeAngelo finally made it to the Pit Stop, they appeared pretty defeated.
Phil announced they had been eliminated from The Amazing Race, and DeAngelo admitted he regretted every signing up for the show to begin with.
Phil asked DeAngelo, "You didn't enjoy the experience?"

But Gary interjected, "I enjoyed it... I had a blast."
"I had a bunch of fun. I got to go to a bunch of countries I probably wouldn't have gone to on my own."

DeAngelo called Gary "a solid partner," and Gary acknowledged the pair got better and better as they ran and he wouldn't have chosen a different partner for himself.
"The other teams, they didn't want to face us in the finals," Gary noted.
"The only one that had been pushing them was us, and now they don't have that threat anymore," DeAngelo said.
