The Amazing Race eliminated former Big Brother houseguests Rachel Reilly and Elissa Slater from the Season 31 competition during Wednesday night's broadcast on CBS.

Rachel, 34, and Elissa, 32 -- who raced as sisters from Van Nuys, CA, and Las Vegas, NV, respectively -- were ousted from the Race to win $1 million after arriving at the eighth Pit Stop at the gardens of the Grand Hotel in Giessbach, Switzerland in last place.

"I guess I was super delusional that I thought we could win," Rachel cried upon learning her team's fate at the Pit Stop.

"Rach, we win at life! We have healthy babies, we got to do the Race together," Elissa reminded her sister.

The Amazing Race broadcast began with former The Amazing Race racers Tyler Oakley and friend Korey Kuhl leaving the previous Pit Stop in Zurich, Switzerland in first place at 4:56AM.

Tyler and Korey already had two first-place finishes under their belts.

The clue instructed the team to drive to the village of Ballenberg, where teams would find their first clue.

Former The Amazing Race racers Colin Guinn and life partner Christie Woods left in second place at 5:03AM, followed by former Racers Becca Droz and friend Floyd Pierce at 5:04AM.

Former Racers Leo Temory and friend Jamal Zadran were on their heels in fourth place, departing the Pit Stop at 5:09AM.

Christie and Colin helped Becca and Floyd with directions, so they hoped their kindness and generosity would help them in the future.

Rachel and Elissa then took off in fifth place at 5:49AM, and Rachel was in a great mood because she was about to break the record for most legs run on The Amazing Race by a Racer ever.

Meanwhile, former Survivor castaways Chris Hammons and friend Bret LaBelle were running in sixth place and had left the Pit Stop in Switzerland at 5:50AM.

Former Big Brother houseguests Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo began the leg in last place, as they had departed the Zurich Pit Stop at 6:05AM.

Nicole hoped for an "equalizer," and she got just that since the gates at their next location in Ballenberg didn't open until 7AM the next morning. All the teams were therefore on a level playing field.

During their time to rest, Rachel and Elissa attempted to repair their relationship with Leo and Jamal. The girls told the guys that they had warned Nicole and Victor they might be U-Turned but never threw Leo and Jamal's names under the bus.

Rachel explained they wanted to help Nicole and Victor out because of their "Big Brother pact," but that pact no longer existed.

Rachel and Elissa wanted to prove they were trustworthy, and Leo and Jamal acknowledged it was okay and people make mistakes. However, Leo was still prepared to U-Turn Rachel and Elissa at the next opportunity.

The gates then opened and teams raced to the Ballenberg community hall where they found The Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan.

Phil explained that since Switzerland believes they have the oldest democracy in the world, it seemed only fitting the teams should begin the leg with "a U-Turn vote."

The teams were therefore instructed to choose one team to U-Turn one at a time -- out loud and in front of each other.

Each of the seven teams got to vote once -- in an order determined by random draw -- until two teams were picked to complete both sides of the upcoming Detour. Phil also announced there were no more non-elimination legs left in the Race.

Rachel and Elissa chose Colin and Christie for strategic purposes, and then Nicole asked Victor to choose after whispering in his ear, and he picked Leo and Jamal. Nicole was upset over Victor's choice, as she alleged she had wanted a different team to do it.

Colin and Christie picked Rachel and Elissa, and then Leo and Jamal selected Colin and Christie.

Becca and Floyd chose to U-Turn Colin and Christie with "no hard feelings," after which Tyler and Colin picked Nicole and Victor since they had finished the last leg in last place.

And finally, Chris and Bret chose Rachel and Elissa because they weren't close to the girls.

Rachel wasn't happy the teams were making them go up against Colin and Christie. She thought it was "a personal move" rather than a game move, and Rachel reminded everyone a million dollars was on the line.

Leo and Jamal regretted not U-Turning Nicole and Victor since they already had an extra Speed Bump task to complete. And Nicole later revealed she had wanted to U-Turn Rachel and Elissa.

Regardless, Colin and Christie and Rachel and Elissa were chosen for the U-Turn as a result.

The Detour presented the teams were two possible options: "Make Hay" or "Cow Festival."

Using an old scythe, "Make Hay" required one team member to cut a layer of grass, while the other raked up behind them. When the grass was properly stacked, they'd be rewarded their next clue.

"Cow Festival" required the teams to dress up a cow and then lead them to a party where they would be judged.

Having arrived last in the previous leg, Nicole and Victor had to complete their Speed Bump task at this location of taking down and folding 26 flags representing the 26 states of Switzerland.

The teams who chose to cut grass and rake hay were Leo and Jamal, Bret and Chris, Tyler and Korey, and Becca and Floyd.

Rachel and Elissa attempted the cow task first, and so did Colin and Christie.

After finishing their Speed Bump, Nicole and Victor opted to take on the cow task.

It turned out the cows weren't cooperating and so the hay task appeared to be easier, although the teams really had to work and sweat for their next clue.

Becca and Floyd completed the Detour in first place and were instructed to drive themselves to Oberschwanden to find their next clue.

Bret and Chris finished the task in second place, and they were then followed by Tyler and Korey and Leo and Jamal.

Rachel and Elissa completed their first side of the Detour next but realized they had lost their clue. (The girls had left it on the table at the cow task).

Colin and Christie finished Part 1 of the Detour next, and then Nicole and Victor finished the Detour and were able to officially move on in fifth place.

Rachel and Elissa asked Colin and Christie if they could see their clue, but the life partners refused and didn't feel bad about it. Rachel and Elissa therefore just tried to copy Colin and Christie's actions.

Meanwhile, Becca and Floyd had decided to follow Tyler and Korey in their car after the task.

Later on, Colin and Christie completed both sides of the Detour task in sixth place, leaving Rachel and Elissa in seventh -- and last -- place.

Tyler and Korey arrived at Oberschwanden in first place, followed by Becca and Floyd seconds later. The two teams learned one member from each team had to complete a Roadblock task.

The Roadblock task required the participating Racers to use a crossbow and attempt to hit an apple target.

Chris and Bret arrived at the Roadblock task next. But on the way to the Roadblock, Leo and Jamal got lost and wasted about 30-40 minutes, giving Rachel and Elissa some time to catch up.

Nicole and Victor became the fourth team to arrive at the Roadblock task, and they were then followed by Colin and Christie, Rachel and Elissa, and finally Leo and Jamal.

All the teams were accounted for and Leo and Jamal knew they were in last place, so the leg came down to who could shoot the apple quicker.

The following Racers chose to take on the Roadblock: Tyler, Becca, Bret, Victor, Colin, Rachel, and Jamal.

Chris and Bret finished the Roadblock in first place given Bret is a good shooter, and so they raced via motorboat to the Pit Stop at the beautiful gardens of the Grand Hotel in Giessbach.

Tyler and Korey ran to the Pit Stop in second place, and on their heels were Becca and Floyd, Colin and Christie, and then Nicole and Victor.

Although Bret and Chris had been in the lead in first place, Tyler and Korey managed to jump ahead during a foot race and arrive at the Pit Stop mat in first place.

For winning the leg, Tyler and Korey received a seven-night luxury river cruise. It was their third first-place finish in a row.

Chris and Bret therefore placed second in this leg.

Meanwhile, Rachel and Jamal seemingly hit their apple targets within a minute of each other, so it became a race to the finish for them.

"We have to go ahead and battle it out. May the best team win," Jamal noted.

Jamal and Leo, however, took off before Rachel and Elissa.

Colin and Christie acknowledged Becca and Floyd must have gotten lost, and so they secured third place despite having been U-Turned.

Becca and Floyd then showed up in fourth place, and Nicole and Victor finished in fifth place.

Finally, Leo and Jamal arrived at the Pit Stop mat in sixth place, and Rachel and Elissa were ousted after completing the leg in last place.

"Looking back, I would have loved to be in that Final 3, but I really don't have anything to complain about," Rachel told the cameras.

"I've gotten to do this with my sister, she is my best friend, and I've been able to do some incredible things during my 32 legs on The Amazing Race... We are so blessed."
