However, one of the teams will be familiar to reality TV viewers. Keith Tollefson and his now-fiancee Whitney Duncan had both competed on Survivor: South Pacific. The couple got engaged in February 2013 after falling in love while filming Survivor in Summer 2011 when Whitney, who is also a former Nashville Star finalist, had been secretly married.
The Amazing Race's 25th season will continue to feature teams participating in a series of challenges -- some mental and some physical -- as they race around the world in the hopes of crossing the finish line in first place and winning $1 million. Phil Keoghan will return as host.
CBS considers its 25th season a milestone. The last 24 editions have chronicled 234 teams; 770,000 miles traveled by Racers; 84 countries visited; 286 Roadblocks; and 12 visits in China. China is the most-visited country on the Race.
