The Amazing Race "Father and Daughter" Arun Kumar and Natalia Kumar survived their second non-elimination leg after a close race in Corsica during Wednesday night's Season 33 episode on CBS.

"We have nine lives!" Natalia joked after high-fiving her dad.
The Amazing Race broadcast began with "Internet Personalities" Kim Holderness and Penn Holderness and "Flight Attendants" Raquel Moore and Cayla Platt departing before any of the other teams at 8AM.
The teams were instructed to drive themselves south 90 minutes from Cardiccia to Tour de Fautea, a sixteenth century watchtower where they'd be treated to a local delicacy, a rotten cheese brought to life with little maggots.
The teams drove in nice convertibles, and Raquel and Cayla were hoping for a first-place finish. The pair had faced financial and emotional hurdles before going on the Race, and this journey appeared to be their break from all the stress.
Kim and Penn asked a local for directions, and so Raquel and Cayla decided to follow them.
Arun and Natalia, "Twins and Radio Hosts" Marianela "Lulu" Gonzalez and Marissa "Lala" Gonzalez, and "Best Friends" Ryan Ferguson and Dusty Harris departed as the second group at 8:15AM.
Arun and Natalia had a good "morale booster" by finishing the previous leg before a couple of other teams, and Ryan and Dusty said they were entering this leg extremely energetic and confident.
Although Raquel and Cayla followed Kim and Penn to the destination, Penn made a wrong turn and then the girls forged ahead in the correct direction. Kim therefore determined Raquel and Cayla were one of their biggest competition.
Raquel and Cayla were therefore asked to try the cheese with live maggots in first place, and although they were a little grossed out, they dove right in and chewed the "vomit" quickly.

Kim and Penn ate the local delicacy in second place, and Penn gagged his way through it.
It then became time for the teams to complete one of two possible Detour tasks: "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" or "Gently Down the Stream."
"Row, Row, Row Your Boat" required the teams to choose a fish and then kayak around buoys, where they must unhook the matching fish, some of which were tied on a chain deep in the water. Once a team collected 10 of the correct-colored fish, they'd receive their next clue.
"Gently Down the Stream" required the teams to take a 15-minute cruise around a bay in an aqua boat and keep an eye out for 10 metal fish. At the end of their journey, they must make their way to a dive shop, where they'd pick up a fish chart, sort through it, and identify the exact sequence of fish that they saw underwater. If a team got it right, they'd earn their next clue.
Raquel and Cayla opted to try rowing, while Kim and Penn chose to go down the stream.
However, Raquel and Cayla decided to wait for Kim and Penn to catch up, which Kim and Penn really appreciated -- and then the two girls decided to go on the boat with Kim and Penn and work together considering four minds would be better than two.
"I like them again," Penn joked of the girls, who had essentially screwed them over at the start of the leg.
Ryan and Dusty ate the cheese in third place, and Lulu and Lala received their Detour clue in fourth place.

Arun and Natalia, racing in fifth -- and last -- place opted to float downstream instead of rowing.
Kim and Penn completed the Detour task in first place, and then they learned they must drive to the southern most tip of Corsica known as Port de Plaisance, the island's oldest town that is often referred to as France's best kept secret.
Raquel and Cayla ran from the Detour location in second place.
Meanwhile, Arun and Natalia and Lulu and Lala boarded the same boat after having to wait a few minutes for the boat to return.
Arun and Natalia also worked with Lulu and Lala to hopefully get to the task done faster.
But Ryan and Dusty were testing their luck at rowing kayaks with transparent hulls all alone, and at one point, they flipped their kayak and had trouble getting back in it. Their fish and oars also floated away from them, and so they had to calm down and regroup.
Raquel and Cayla arrived at their next destination in first place, and Kim and Penn were right on their heels.
Ryan and Dusty finished the Detour in third place, but then Arun and Natalia and Lulu and Lala had to take another 15-minute boat ride to memorize the fish in the proper order.
The two teams, however, started their second boat ride with a strategy in which every person was supposed to memorize two fish perfectly and then they'd compare notes.

Lulu and Lala finally completed the Detour task in fourth place, with Arun and Natalia right behind them in fifth place.

For the Roadblock, the participating Racers were instructed to repair holes on nets. Everything they needed to do the job was inside a large, messy bucket that included a very long net.
Cayla chose to take on the Roadblock task as well as Penn and Ryan.
Cayla struggled to tie any knots at all, and it was definitely an exercise in patience for Penn and Ryan.
Kim and Penn finished the Roadblock task in first place, and the teams' next set of couples asked them to run to their next Pit Stop across the harbor, where The Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan would be waiting for them ontop of Bonifacio Cliffs 200 feet above the sea.
Cayla and Raquel ran to the Pit Stop in second place, and it turned out to be quite a hike up many stairs. Ryan and Dusty finished the Roadblock in third place.
Kim and Penn, maintaining their lead, ultimately completed the leg in first place and won a six-night trip for two to Turkey.

And then Raquel and Cayla placed second for the second time on The Amazing Race this season.
"We lost our jobs for over a year," Raquel shared.
"So winning this money would be life changing for us," Cayla added.
"It would take a lot of stress off of us, for sure," Raquel said.

Natalia had a slight jump on Lala when starting the task in fourth place, but Lala finished the job quicker and jumped her team into fourth place heading to the Pit Stop.
In the end, Lulu and Lala walked up to Phil in fourth place, and then Natalia and Arun ran behind them and stepped on the Pit Stop mat in fifth -- and last -- place.
"You've had second chances before -- unfortunately not your day today," Phil announced. "The good news is, this is a non-elimination leg."
Phil explained how Arun and Natalia would continue racing but there has probably never been a team in The Amazing Race history who has been given so many chances.
"It's a blessing, but at the same time, we really need to step up. People don't get these opportunities," Arun told the cameras.
"But we're still here! We're here to fight another leg. We can do it, I'm confident," Natalia interjected.

Arun said while he understood where his daughter was coming from, they wouldn't receive another chance.
"We bring it every leg!" Natalia insisted. "We're trying our best and there's no more mistakes."
