The Bachelor alum Kelley Flanagan has fired back at Peter Weber, who recently claimed on his podcast Kelley is "calculated" and headline-hungry in her approach to speaking about their breakup.

"The things being said about me are that I'm calculated, that I want to hit headlines, that I'm disingenuous and things like that... I'm just going to clear some things up."

On May 20, Kelley appeared on the Chicks in the Office podcast and said her relationship with Peter ended "really badly" in February and she would "just run" if she ever bumped into her ex in the streets of New York, where they both currently live.
Peter then addressed Kelley's biting remarks during the May 25 episode of his Bachelors in the City podcast, telling his listeners that Kelley seemed to be riding the fame wave and trying to push headlines with her "calculated and disingenuous" statements.
In her YouTube video, Kelley -- dressed casually in a sweatshirt and glasses -- explained her intent behind that Chicks in the Office interview, which included Kelley revealing Peter has childlike-hobbies such as collecting Pokemon cards and playing video games.
"Someone is giving their opinion as to why I did [the podcast] with no facts behind it, which I think is a little bit crazy," Kelley said.
"But anyways, I will reiterate this so many times: the relationship ended very badly and there was a good reason as to that after Valentine's Day in February."
Kelley recalled telling Peter to "get out of my life and lose my number," which she thought was fair to say at the time.
"I was drawing a healthy boundary that I needed," Kelley claimed.
"My intent behind it: I saw Article 1, Article 2, Article 3, Article 4 -- and I told my manager, 'Tell [Peter] to stop because I'm not going to go with the narrative someone is creating for me.' So I decided to do Kaitlyn Bristowe's podcast."

On Kaitlyn's podcast, Kelley said there were "non-negotiables" in her relationship with Peter and she hinted that the pair lacked communication and she sometimes felt disrespected by the pilot.
"And then I saw Article 5, Article 6, Article 7, Article 8 and [Peter] creating this storyline that we're going to be friends in New York and all of this stuff," Kelley continued.
Kelley therefore said she asked her manager to give Peter another warning that if he didn't stop bringing up her name in the press, she would speak on their relationship.
"I will never let anyone create a narrative for me, so finally the bear was poked. There were a lot of things going on, even me being disrespected," Kelley said.
Kelley referenced Peter, for example, allegedly hanging out with her family friends and posting about their good times and travel on social media.
"When you end badly with someone, you would think they would just try to respect you a little bit and just go their way instead of reaching out to my 'friends,'" Kelley noted.
On Peter's podcast last week, he said he reached out to Kelley's friend after his February breakup in attempt to open a line of communication with Kelley.
Peter recalled the friend allegedly telling him that Kelley expected a "grandiose gesture" or "big public display" to ever have a shot at being on speaking terms, which apparently rubbed Peter the wrong way since he wanted to handle his issues with Kelley in private.

Kelley said Peter allegedly asked the astrologer for advice on how to contact Kelley, knowing his ex wasn't his "biggest fan" at that point and "for good reasons," according to the former Chicago-based attorney.
Kelley said her astrologer understood her anger behind the situation.
"HER advice to [Peter] was, 'I don't think she's your biggest fan and I think it's going to have to take a big gesture.' Nothing about that was publicly, and those were her words, not mine," Kelley insisted.
"She was just giving him advice in saying, 'Hey look, it's actually really bad and she doesn't really want much to do with you, but if you were to ever try, I think it's going to have to be something big.'"
Peter also claimed he had reached out to Kelley again several weeks ago and received "zero response."
Kelley, however, said she believes there was "no need" for Peter's text or for her to answer it.
"I just said, 'I should not be dealing with this.' I was sticking up for myself and kind of drawing a line," Kelley explained.
"And it sucks because there are some exes you can look back on and say you had a great relationship with and you still have respect for them and you wish them the best, but in my scenario, when something happened that's extremely disrespectful, you have to know your worth and you have to sit there and say, 'Good luck to you. I wish you the best in the future but I don't necessarily want you in my life.'"
Kelley acknowledged it's "okay" to not always be on a great page with a person.
"It sucks... to have tension with someone -- which I can't stand -- but at the same time, I don't want to be pulled back into that," Kelley admitted.
"So I think in my scenario it was just best to pull the ripcord and move on and just cut it out completely, which I think is fair."

Kelley went on to applaud Peter for his kind and sweet words about her character and intelligence on his podcast, but she clarified, "I think I would have respected him more if he didn't "accuse me of trying to hit headlines that have to deal with him."
"Again, he had nothing behind that... That's just his opinion, which is very sad because if I listened to that podcast and heard all of the great things he said about me, I would be like, 'Wow, he's being really mature in this situation and I really respect him,'" Kelley shared.
"But it saddens me to know that's not how he can act -- even after how things ended. It makes me sad that it's this scenario, but it also gives me reassurance that I needed to draw a healthy boundary."
Kelley concluded her video by saying she's doing well and has a great support system in her family and friends.
"Hopefully from here, all of this can just be done... I think some of my [podcast] answers were not liked because it didn't play along with the storyline that was being portrayed. But it's my life too," Kelley reasoned.
"I'm not going to play along," she noted, adding that she has no reason to stand up for Peter and make him look good. "The bear was poked and there were several warnings."
After eight months of dating, Kelley and Peter announced their split on New Year's Eve. However, the pair briefly reconciled and gave their relationship another shot, until Kelley and Peter's romance ended for good in mid-February.
Kelley previously said on the Chicks in the Office podcast, "I essentially went off on him... He texted me, I didn't respond and then found some news out that I wasn't happy about... I went off and essentially said, like, 'Get the hell out of my life.' It ended really badly."
Prior to dating Kelley -- Peter's fifth-place finisher on The Bachelor's 24th season who got eliminated before hometown dates -- Peter had a failed engagement to his season's winner Hannah Ann Sluss.
After failing to revive a romance with his The Bachelor frontrunner Madison Prewett, who quit the show during her final date with Peter, in March 2020, Peter reunited with Kelley in her hometown of Chicago to quarantine together at the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
Peter and Kelley's time together sparked a romance and they went Instagram official in May 2020.
