Grant, a 26-year-old speaker and minister, proposed marriage to Madison on Sunday at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, FL, just a few days shy of the couple's nine-month dating anniversary.
Troutt popped the question with a large oval-shaped diamond ring that also features small diamonds on the band.

Madison, 26, gushed Sunday night on her Instagram Stories how it was "the best day" of her life, and she wrote, "Can you tell I'm HAPPY?!!!!! My man forever."
Madison also uploaded a video that began with her friend Jeanine suddenly filming her in a bathroom. At the time, Madison was wearing a knee-length white dress.
"How it all happened," Madison wrote on the video. "Jeanine told me she needed to go to the bathroom and when I came in, she started recording and told me to turn around and I saw my mom and my sisters holding up a dress for me to put on."
Madison started to cry in the video and repeated, "What?!" Madison learned this was going to be her "moment" and her man was waiting for her outside.
Madison changed into a floor-length white dress with a low-cut back and admitted she was "nervous" as she began looking for Grant, who was standing outside of double doors in a powder-blue suit and white button-down shirt.

"I lost it!!!! [Grant] looked so handsome and it hit me so hard in that moment," Madison wrote of her then-boyfriend, adding how her family recorded her reaction and when she began "bawling crying."

Grant proceeded to propose marriage on the beach. The pair stood on a white blanket by the water and were surrounded by a circle of white candles.
After Madison said "yes," she cheered loudly and threw her arms up into the air.
"Doesn't feel real," Madison gushed on social media afterwards. "Now, I get to love you forever [Grant]."

Madison told People in an interview that she had been waiting for this day her "whole life."
"I am so excited that it's finally here. He is everything I have prayed for, waited for, and dreamed of my whole life. He was definitely worth the wait," Madison gushed.
Recalling the marriage proposal, Madison shared, "Grant was waiting for me and led me out to the beach, where he had candles and flowers and a Bible with my new name on it -- and the ring of my dreams!"
Madison said she "had no idea the proposal was coming," but Grant's plans that day "changed multiple times," which was a bit confusing for her.
It apparently took Grant weeks to get the beachside proposal right, and he was "constantly" talking with Madison's family and friends ahead of time.

"He actually was supposed to come with me and my friends to Florida but he got sick and wasn't able to make it," Madison explained.
"I thought we were celebrating one of our friend's birthdays. I was told we were taking birthday pictures on the beach and when I came down, my best friend led me into the bathroom where my mom and sisters were with the dress I wanted to get engaged in. In that moment, I knew."
Madison previously shared how she and Grant were set up on a blind date in Dallas, TX, through a mutual friend.
Madison debuted Grant on Instagram in May, writing, "So now y'all know, I got the realist G in town. Grant Michael Troutt, so full of passion and purpose and joy, I am proud I get to do life with someone who loves Jesus and people like you do."

"The past 5 months have been the best and wildest adventure," the proud Christian and virgin continued at the time.
"Full of highs and lows but there's nobody else in the world I'd rather do life with... You are my best friend. My favorite hello. My hardest goodbye. There's nobody else in the world like you. Let's keep dreaming, vibing, serving, and loving. G&M."
After competing on The Bachelor in 2020 and having a tumultuous, short-lived relationship with Peter Weber, Madison shared with The New York Post's Page Six in November 2021 it would "take a whole lot of Godly men" for her to appear on a reality dating show again.
In fact, Madison had already turned down a stint on Bachelor in Paradise's seventh season, which aired in Summer 2021.
"I didn't feel like Paradise was really my scene. Some of my friends went on there and had a great time, so good for them! But it just wasn't my thing," the Alabama native shared last year.
Madison wasn't even sure if starring on The Bachelorette would interest her, as she said it wasn't on her "radar" at the time and "a lot of conversations" would need to be had for her to consider it.

"I would have to feel pretty confident of what I would be stepping into and also feel like it was where God was leading me," Madison said.
On The Bachelor's 24th season, Madison seemed to be Peter's frontrunner and top pick, but she quit the competition during her final one-on-one date with the pilot. Madison seemed torn up over the fact Peter had been intimate with one or more of his other finalists.
Peter and Madison also constantly questioned if their relationship could make it long-term due to their different lifestyles and motivations.

Peter's mother Barbara Weber claimed Peter loves to party and is generally "spiritual," but Madison claimed to have devoted her life to God. She even graduated seminary school and had once envisioned herself becoming a pastor's wife.
Not only was Madison a virgin on the show -- and Peter had sex with Hannah Brown four times in the Fantasy Suite on The Bachelorette's fifteenth season -- but Madison said one of her biggest goals in life is to open an orphanage.
Madison also said she expected her future husband to be the religious leader of her future children, and Peter admitted to the bachelorette his faith could definitely be stronger.
Peter therefore proposed marriage to his last remaining bachelorette and technical winner, Hannah Ann Sluss, but then he called off his engagement to Hannah and asked Madison for a second chance.
Just two short days after Peter and Madison's joint appearance on The Bachelor season's After the Final Rose special in March 2020, Peter and Madison released separate statements via Instagram announcing they had decided to split and end their revived romance.
Madison told Us Weekly in October 2021 that she and Peter no longer spoke and had not been in communication at all. After dating Peter, Madison lived in Dallas and entered a relationship that only lasted about eight months.
Madison told People after accepting Grant's marriage proposal that her time on The Bachelor was an "opportunity to learn and [grow]."
Madison also revealed how she and Grant plan to have a short engagement.
