The Bachelor alum Peter Weber has revealed he's "really excited" about the prospect of dating a new woman in his life.

Peter has been the subject of dating rumors lately, but he noted during the April 2 episode of the "Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe" podcast he's "very single and ready to mingle."

While Peter is still technically single, he apparently has high hopes that he'll be in a new relationship soon -- with someone special.

"I'm definitely dating... It's nothing serious, but I'm hopeful," Peter, 32, said during the Monday, April 22 episode of "The Most Dramatic Podcast Ever" podcast.

"There is something right now that kind of just started, that I'm really excited about."

Peter reiterated how there's "something [he's] really excited about," but the woman is "not from TV."

Peter, who currently works as a commercial pilot and also appeared on The Traitors, wasn't ashamed to admit he's been looking for The One on dating apps, namely Hinge.

"I've never got accepted to Raya. It's kind of a funny running joke with all my friends, but I never got the invite for that," Peter said.

"I've never been that person who's like, 'Oh that's beneath me.' Nothing is beneath anyone, in my opinion. I know I went on a very successful dating show, but I also have no issue going on Hinge."

Peter's brother reconnected with his now-wife through Hinge. The pair had gone to the same high school for two years but never talked and then they met through hinge years later and got married.

Peter continued, "So that's a success story. I always thought, 'If I meet my wife, the woman of my dreams, through Hinge, so be it!... And it's going good."

But Peter clarified of the new woman in his life, "She's not from Hinge; she's not from any of that."

Peter revealed the woman actually isn't famous at all.

"It's very early [for us], but we are extremely similar. We come from similar backgrounds. I'll be honest, I haven't even met her yet," Peter confessed.

"But we're going to be meeting soon, and we have a lot of mutual friends that think we'd be a pretty good match. And we've just been texting and on the phone. It just started. I know that's a little too soon to be excited, but that's just how I am."

Peter added, "I have a good feeling."

In terms of what he's looking for in his future wife after a string of failed relationships with Hannah Brown, Madison Prewett, Hannah Ann Sluss, and Kelley Flanagan, Peter shared he's obviously still searching for his best friend -- but there's more to it than that.

"I've always said, 'I want that sweetheart.' I think I have a big heart to give to someone as well, and I want that reciprocated," Peter explained.

"But on top of that, I also kind of realized that I want a little bit of fire in that as well."

Peter admitted, "I've never actually been honest about that with myself. But I do need a little bit of [fire], but obviously not too much where it gets a little out of hand."

Peter acknowledged how he'd like to find a relationship that brings him "peace" and he'd love to dive into love headfirst "and really let something beautiful grow."

Chris pointed out how it would be great for Peter to find a woman who can push him, challenge him, and make him better.

Peter agreed, and the men realized The Bachelorette's Season 15 star had been that for Peter.

"That's why I almost left [The Bachelor] for her. Hannah Brown had that [fiery personality]," Peter said.

"But I'll never be too hung up on a door that's closed. I'll always had the positive outlook that something else is coming down the line and [what I did before] is preparing me for that."

Peter got engaged to Tennessee-born Hannah Ann on The Bachelor's Season 24 finale, which aired in March 2020.

Not long after popping the question in Australia, Peter apparently realized he still had feelings for his runner-up, Madison, and so he said he couldn't give his fiancee his whole heart.

Peter therefore broke things off with Hannah Ann and devastated her, only to ask Madison for another shot at dating. (Peter and Madison, however, called it quits only two days after The Bachelor: After the Final Rose aired in March 2020 on ABC, and she is now married to Grant Troutt, the son of Texas billionaire Kenny Troutt).

Hannah Ann previously said on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast that Peter had asked for her blessing -- when they were still engaged -- to reach out to Hannah Brown because he "needed closure" in early January 2020.

"I should have really picked up on the first red flag that you gave to me, was when you wanted to reach out to Hannah Brown to find closure with her," Hannah Ann told Peter on The Bachelor finale in March 2020.

"So really, looking back at it, our engagement involved three women. Me, you still being in love with Madison and proposing to me and you needing closure with Hannah Brown. That's three women involved in our engagement that I was completely blindsided to... Words of advice, if you want to be with a woman, you need to become a real man."

"Alabama Hannah" later revealed she and Peter had slept together while The Bachelor's 24th season was airing in February 2020.

The Dancing with the Stars winner and Peter had reunited at Bachelor in Paradise couple Dylan Barbour and Hannah Godwin's engagement party before having sex at his parents' house in Los Angeles, CA, that evening.

Hannah wrote in her memoir, God Bless This Mess -- which was released in November 2021 -- that the sexual encounter "just sucked" and it was "a poor decision" on her part.

Hannah Ann took to TikTok after the news surfaced and captioned a video, "Always trust your instincts ladies."

In the video, Hannah Ann was lip-syncing and mouthed, "That was embarrassing. I really hope you're embarrassed. Wow."

Words then flashed across the footage that read, "When the tea officially spills..."

Hannah Ann didn't name Peter or the former beauty queen directly, but she confirmed whom her post was intended for in the comments to her followers.

"Savage ain't a bad thing every once in a while," Hannah Ann wrote to one TikToker who praised her video, according to Us Weekly.

Another follower wrote, "God did you a favor Hannah," to which the model and Tennessee native replied, "There Is a God."

After Peter and Hannah Ann's breakup, Hannah Ann moved to Los Angeles and eventually went public with her romance with NFL player Jake Funk in February 2022. The pair got engaged in January 2023.

For Peter's part, he began dating Kelley Flanagan during the start of the coronavirus pandemic in early 2020. They had a pretty tumultuous romance that turned out to be an on-again and off-again romance. When they first broke up in February 2021, things ended "really badly," according to Kelley.

During Peter and Kelley's second attempt at a relationship, they attempted to date privately until their final split in Spring 2023.
