The pilot and Season 24 The Bachelor star is currently living the single life in New York, where he shares an apartment with Dustin Kendrick, whom Peter became friends with on Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette.
"Personally, I'm not seriously dating at all, but just meeting people and having a good time and building my community. That's what I'm doing right now," Peter, 29, told Us.
Though Peter doesn't plan on settling down in the near future, he still believes the love of his life is out there.
"I've definitely had a whirlwind of two years there in the dating department and may have been chasing relationships for a little bit too long, but I still haven't lost any faith," Peter shared.
"I have all the faith in the world that my person is out there and we're going to have a beautiful, beautiful life together. Just haven't found her yet."
In the meantime, Peter is about to launch a "Bachelors in the City" podcast with Dustin on Wednesday, April 14, and Kelley is reportedly planning a move herself to the Big Apple.
Peter also revealed that women probably won't see his face on any dating apps.
"Not that I would say I'm opposed to apps, like they can definitely work for sure, but I think there's something to... meeting someone super organically and in person," Peter said. "I don't think anything can truly ever replace that."

Peter and Kelley randomly met in the lobby of a Malibu hotel when they were attending different events before The Bachelor started filming in late 2019.
Kelley felt an instant connection with Peter and decided to compete on his The Bachelor edition, which aired in early 2020. Peter sent Kelley home in fifth place before he visited his Final 4 bachelorettes' hometowns to meet their families.
During The Bachelor's Season 24 finale on March 10, 2020, Kelley -- who was sitting in the audience for the live special -- watched an indecisive Peter break off an engagement to fiancee Hannah Ann Sluss and then reconcile with his supposed true love and runner-up, Madison Prewett.
Peter and Madison never got their relationship off the ground and announced just two days later on March 12 that they were going their separate ways.
After a couple of chance-encounters, like at the Super Bowl in 2020 for instance, Peter and Kelley reunited to quarantine with each other as "friends" in Chicago in late March 2020.
But it didn't take long for romance to spark between Peter and Kelley since they had strong feelings for each other on the show and Peter believed fate had brought them together to begin with.
Following weeks of dating rumors, Peter and Kelley went Instagram official on May 2, 2020 when "Pilot Pete" posted a photo of the couple embracing in the cockpit of a plane.
Peter and Kelley had agreed last summer they were in no rush to get engaged, tie the knot, or have children.

Peter initially planned to move to New York City in January 2021 with Kelley, but the couple announced their breakup in December 2020.
An insider told Us at the time Peter and Kelley's personalities simply "didn't mix" and the pair fought frequently and had many disagreements -- although Peter never cheated, despite rumors he had been unfaithful.
Kelley revealed during a March episode of Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe that she and Peter officially called it quits on their relationship around Valentine's Day in February after briefly trying to work things out.
Kelley said the pair "don't speak" at all now and she doesn't envision being in communication with him going forward.
"[I need to] move on. My past is my past, focusing on the future," Kelley told the Season 11 The Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe.
"I don't think it was the healthiest thing for me to keep your past in your future, but I wish him well. We don't communicate."
Kelley suggested Peter had insisted he'd change for her but didn't follow through on his promises.
"On my end, there were just a lot of non-negotiables in the relationship that they essentially were seeming to be worked on or saying that they were going to be worked on or changed, and actions kind of speak louder than words," Kelley admitted.
She added at the time, "There wasn't something massive [that led to our breakup]. Within the relationship, it was fun. It was great, but there was a lot of little things."
