The Bachelor alum Sharleen Joynt from Juan Pablo Galavis' season is officially a married woman.

Sharleen wed her fiance, Andy Levine, on Friday, September 8, during an intimate ceremony in New York City's Battery Park City neighborhood, Us Weekly reported.

The Season 18 The Bachelor bachelorette got engaged to Andy in February 2015, and the couple had initially scheduled a wedding for October 2016. Sharleen, however, was offered a great career opportunity and so the nuptials were postponed.

"I got a singing contract I couldn't turn down and we switched it," Sharleen, an opera singer, told Us. "Pushed it back by a year."

For her wedding day, Sharleen reportedly donned a gown by Australian designer Martina Liana.

"I literally was Googling backless wedding dresses and found her. It was so hard for me to find something backless that wasn't slinky. I wanted drama but simplicity at the same time. The silhouette is dramatic, but the material is simple," Sharleen explained.

"The only place that carried it was in Pennsylvania, so I took the Greyhound and then tried it on there! I'm not kidding. I made the day trip by myself, but then it wasn't going to be ready in time, so I found it on preownedweddingdresses.com and it was never worn with tags. I bought it from some other girl!"

Following a 30-minute outdoor wedding ceremony and subsequent cocktail hour, Sharleen revealed the couple's first dance was to Frankie Valli's "I Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You" in front of their 100 guests.

"I could not be more happy because we wanted 100 [guests]," Sharleen said of the wedding size. "We're always told 20 percent won't be able to come, so we overshot it. It's magic that it came out right at 100."

Notable wedding guests from The Bachelor franchise included Season 10 The Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman, Kelly Travis -- the "dog lover" from Juan Pablo's season -- Season 20 The Bachelor star Nick Viall and Season 19 star Chris Soules -- whom Sharleen called a "dear, dear friend" -- and Becca Tilley and Caila Quinn from Ben Higgins' edition of The Bachelor.

"[There were] seven Bachelor people," Sharleen noted. "I didn't want it to be a Bachelor wedding, just the friends I actually hang out with."

Sharleen said her bridesmaids wore "amazing" and "stunning" rose-gold sequined dresses by Theia.

"I'm obsessed with them! They're all the same sequin and fabric, each one is a different silhouette. I want them to wear these dresses again. They're all show-stopper dresses, they're fabulous," Sharleen shared with the magazine.

"One girl has long sleeves with an open back, one is strapless."

Sharleen opted for unusual wedding colors and "dark elements" such as dark flowers and black candles on the tables in order to be different.

"I knew I wanted something modern, that I would never get sick of, it was a hard combination to find," Sharleen said. "I knew I wanted something moody, I know that sounds weird. But I didn't want pink, white and blush," the bride explained.

"I wanted a moody chic vibe that's also classic. not classically bridal, but classic."

When Sharleen competed on The Bachelor in early 2014, Juan Pablo wrote in his People blog that she was "the most honest, realistic and mature" of all the women on his season.
