The Bachelor alum Susie Evans has provided fans with an update on her dating life now that she's working and thriving in Los Angeles, CA.

Susie recently conducted a Q&A session via Instagram Stories and was asked to dish about "the guy" in her life, according to BachelorNation.com.

The Season 26 The Bachelor alum simply responded, "We'll see about that..."

Susie is apparently keeping her cards close to her chest, but she did open up about dating on the West Coast in general.

"Rumor on the streets is that dating in L.A. is a nightmare. [People say] everyone has a roster, no one wants commitment, and people ghost all the time," Susie explained.

"Honestly though, I haven't had a negative experience, but I believe the others that have."

Former The Bachelor star Clayton Echard's ex-girlfriend continued, "I think a lot of people come to L.A. for their careers and get hyper-focused on that, so relationships take a back seat."

Susie, however, pointed out how that's "okay to say" as long as a person is "honest about it."

The videographer and photographer admitted, "Sometimes people are just sh*tty and don't make their intentions clear and that's the ultimate criminal offense in dating. Just be upfront and honest, ya know?"

Susie is apparently having a blast in California. The Bachelor winner even recently attended the Barbie movie premiere with her good friend, The Bachelorette alum Andrew Spencer.

But Susie confessed that she misses her family and friends back in Virginia.

"That's like the biggest thing, that's a big one. I obviously love where I'm from, I think Virginia is the most beautiful state, I love it," Susie shared.

"But the only part that actually makes it hard is being away from family and friends. I miss my niece and nephew so much. My brother, my sister, my parents, they are literally my best friends."

The Bachelor alum also has FOMO sometimes considering her childhood best friends decided to move back to the area where they had all grown up.

"[They] are starting families of their own, so I feel a lot of times like I'm missing out on all of that. That is really hard," Susie confessed.

"I'm just going to make the effort to try to get home as much as possible, speaking of, I'm looking at flights right now to go home in a couple of weeks."

Susie won Clayton's heart on The Bachelor's 26th season, which aired in early 2022, over Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia, who both went on to co-star on The Bachelorette's 19th season.

But Susie left the show during Fantasy Suites because Clayton had slept with, and also professed his love to, the other two women. Even though Clayton considered Susie to be a "once-in-a-lifetime woman," she was convinced on the show that The Bachelor star wasn't her "person."

However, Clayton and Susie began communicating after filming ended in late 2021 and sparked up a romance in the real world. They publicly announced their relationship in March 2022 on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose.

Susie and Clayton have been single, at least from the public's perspective, ever since calling it quits in September 2022. The pair have moved on from each other but managed to maintain a friendship.

Susie shared on TikTok in late April how she had gone out on one of the best first dates of her life.

Susie also opened up about whether she could ever see herself getting back together with Clayton during a recent appearance on the "Bachelor Rush Hour With Dave Neal" podcast.

For his part, Clayton told Joe Amabile in May on the "Click Bait with Bachelor Nation" podcast that he'd been seeing someone locally in Scottsdale, AZ, "on and off" for over a month at that point.

"I don't want to jinx anything right now, but I'll just say this: I do have interest in someone I'm talking to right now," Clayton shared.

Clayton questioned at the time if he sincerely had enough time to devote himself to a partner, but he acknowledged he was "pretty interested" in her.

"I kind of caught myself wondering what [she's] doing... I'm starting to think about her. But it's early in the game," Clayton said.

Clayton appreciated how this woman -- whom he was "intrigued" by and "curious" about -- was giving him space and wasn't pushing to see him all the time.

"I don't want to feel like somebody is going to smother me," Clayton noted.

If that romance didn't work out, Clayton said he could "yeah, maybe" see himself looking for love in Mexico on Bachelor in Paradise this season. (The spinoff is currently filming and premieres this fall on ABC).

"It just depends on who would be going... Should I [name whom I'm interested in]? Bahh. You know, I feel a little dangerous... From all the things I can see on social media and from what I saw on TV, I think [Jess Girod] was pretty cute," Clayton revealed.

"She's a pretty cute girl," he added. "There you go. If you want the click bait, she's somebody who I'm like, 'Hey, there could be some interest there.'"

But Clayton confirmed no women from Bachelor Nation had reached out to him or made a move.

"I don't know if there's a giant red flag waving above my head, but no one [is romantically interested]," Clayton said with a laugh, adding how his DMs had "been dry."
