The Bachelor alum Tia Booth has announced she is pregnant with her first child, just a couple of months after she and fiance Taylor Mock got engaged.

Tia, 30, took to Instagram on Sunday night and posted a slideshow of photos featuring Taylor embracing her stomach, followed by one throwback photo of Tia with her father.

In honor of her deceased father on Father's Day, Tia began in her caption, "This has undoubtedly been my most challenging season thus far. I've never felt such overwhelming sadness and pure joy at the same time."

"It's been difficult to be grateful for the good as if one of the most important people in my life is missing the celebration," she wrote. "While I wish I could tell my dad all the good news in person, it brings me peace that he knows about it long before I do."

Tia continued of her baby on the way, "Welcoming a new little life while mourning the loss of another proves that high emotions can exist simultaneously, and I have no doubt my dad had a hand in this."

"Happy heavenly Father's Day to the first man I ever loved and Happy soon-to-be Father's Day to my forever," she concluded.

Tia wrote in the comments that she doesn't know the sex of her baby yet.

Congratulatory messages poured in from Bachelor Nation, including Becca Kufrin and Kendall Long.

Becca commented, "So excited for you and Taylor to build this life and welcome the little one into the world! Auntie Boops can't wait to spoil them like crazy."

And Astrid Loch wrote, "I'm so so so happy for you Tia. You're going to be the best mama."

Tia's "Click Bait with Bachelor Nation" podcast host Natasha Parker also gushed, "CONGRATULATIONS!! Soo soo happy for you! Your Dad is still looking out for you, then, now, and always."

Kendall wrote to Tia, "To the beginning of something beautiful! Congratulations to you and your family."

Tia and Taylor, 26, got engaged during a "Bachelor Live On Stage" performance in April in Atlanta, GA, and they currently live in Nashville, TN, together.

"We might [have a wedding date already]," Tia teased on an April episode of her "Click Bait" podcast.

"It was going to be, like, either this year or almost the end of next year. And I was like, 'I don't know if I can wait almost two years and have to plan something for that amount of time.'"

Tia confirmed, "So we're going [with a wedding] sooner rather than later!"

Tia previously shared her wedding will be in Nashville because it will be a great destination for her relatives from Arkansas and Taylor's family and friends from California.

Taylor made a brief appearance on the podcast at the time and said of his Bachelor Live On Stage proposal, "I thought it would be cool to close Tia's chapter with The Bachelor franchise."

Tia said she had "never been more shocked" than in the moment when Taylor popped the question onstage.

"I did not expect it, not one freakin' little second," Tia noted.

Tia and Taylor were only together for nine months, officially, before they got engaged.

"But we've known each other [as friends] for over a year," Tia said after the engagement. "I know people are like, 'It's so fast,' but I'm 30! He's 26. At this point, we don't have to wait... And in Bachelor Nation, it's an eternity!"

When Tia announced her engagement on Instagram, she captioned a selfie, "Never been more shocked or sure in my life. I love you so much Tay, my FIANCE!!!"

And Tia gushed of her future husband in March on social media, "This guy truly doesn't get enough credit for putting up with my sh-t."

The physiotherapist continued alongside a selfie of the couple, "He came into my life during the most difficult season I've ever faced and hasn't wavered. I've tried to push him away more times than I can count, but he's stuck through it all."

"Maybe once we're on the other side of it, I'll write a book to explain, but for now here's some genuine soft smiles. ILY Tay," she concluded.

Tia first announced she has a serious boyfriend in late October 2021 on Instagram.

"Not gonna lie -- it's been nice keeping this to myself, but it's about time y'all know too," Tia captioned a sweet video of the couple at the time.

The video showed Tia and Taylor attending a wedding together, and they clearly have a playful dynamic given they had recorded footage of underwear poses, doggy snuggles and cooking together.

While Tia didn't specify how long she had been dating the California native at the time, Taylor confirmed the pair were definitely in love.

Taylor captioned a slideshow of photos with Tia at the time and wrote, "It's hard to put into words how you truly feel about someone you love."

"I guess I'll keep it as simple as I've never felt more alive than when I'm with you," he continued. "With that being said I still had to make fun of you, hope everyone enjoys the last two slides."

Tia originally competed for Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s heart on The Bachelor's 22nd season and made it to hometown dates before he sent her packing.

She also appeared on Bachelor in Paradise twice, with her latest stint having taken place in Summer 2021.

Tia sparked romances with Kenny Braasch, James Bonsall, Blake Monar, and Aaron Clancy, but she chose to leave Mexico on her own towards the end of the process.

Tia seemed most interested in Blake, but he didn't put enough effort into their relationship, according to the bachelorette.

Tia revealed on Bachelor in Paradise that she has a history of dating men "who don't care" enough to woo her, and she's a person who believes in the notion that actions speak louder than words.

When Bachelor in Paradise was still airing, Tia shared on Instagram Stories, "I saw Thomas go by with a tray of chicken nuggets for Becca and a bunch of pics of their dogs just to be cute and sweet for her."

"And this dude," Tia continued of Blake, "says, 'You know I'm not gonna set up anything for you right? You should know how I feel about you. All that stuff other guys do is fake for TV.'"

Tia posted three embarrassed emojis after making her claim and added, "And I lost my mind."

Tia pointed out, "This ain't my first rodeo. It ain't that hard. Gimme nuggets & fries."
