The Bachelor bachelorette Cristy Caserta has sadly died at the young age of 38.

Cristy, who competed on Season 15 of The Bachelor starring Brad Womack, died unexpectedly on Thursday after suffering an apparent seizure, TMZ reported.

According to law enforcement sources, Cristy was in class at a school in Sunrise, FL, when she suddenly fell out of her desk.
Cristy's classmates were reportedly shocked and alarmed by what they had witnessed and called for an ambulance. When emergency responders arrived, Cristy was reportedly in cardiac arrest.

CPR was administered, TMZ reported, and then the former The Bachelor contestant was transported to Westside Regional Medical Center, which was nearby.
Once at the hospital, doctors reportedly continued their efforts to save Cristy but she was ultimately pronounced dead.
Cristy apparently died as the result of a sudden seizure, as authorities told the website no drugs were found in her system and there's no reason to suspect foul play.

An autopsy will reportedly be conducted on Friday to officially determine the cause of Cristy's death.

Cristy began working for MedPro Healthcare Staffing as a corporate counsel in January 2018. She graduated from Florida State University in 2002 and then went on to earn her law degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.
Brad's season of The Bachelor aired back in early 2011. Cristy was sent home on Night 1 at the season's very first Rose Ceremony.
Brad ended up selecting Emily Maynard at the end of his journey to find love but they broke up several months after the finale aired.
At the time Cristy appeared on the reality dating series, ABC billed her as a 30-year-old attorney from Fort Lauderdale, FL.
