The Bachelor bachelorette Elizabeth Corrigan has revealed when she believes the drama with Shanae Ankney really started on Clayton Echard's season.

Elizabeth and Shanae's feud has been an ongoing storyline for multiple episodes of The Bachelor's 26th season, and it appears Clayton is going to try to diffuse the tension and get to the bottom of things on the next episode airing Monday night on ABC.

Shanae called Elizabeth "fake" and "two-faced" before telling Clayton that Elizabeth was actually bullying her in the house and creating a "toxic" environment, but Elizabeth has argued on the show that she always tried to be nice to Shanae and certainly didn't deserve to be mocked and name-called.
During a Monday appearance on the "Click Bait with Bachelor Nation" podcast co-hosted by Joe Amabile, Tia Booth and Natasha Parker, Elizabeth confirmed she and Shanae had no beef prior to the red-flags themed group date when Shanae had pushed Elizabeth down in the middle of an obstacle course.

"I think I made a really purported effort to make connections with everybody, talk to everyone, get to know them in the house," Elizabeth said of the other women on Clayton's season.
"And the first day in the house, I did that with everyone. And I think perhaps Shanae felt like that meant that we were going to be very, very close."
Shanae, however, apparently started developing closer relationships "with a lot of the other girls."
"Perhaps [Shanae] felt disheartened or had wished that her and I would be closer and I just ended up spending time with more people," Elizabeth reasoned on "Click Bait."
"Honestly, I think you can see from watching that you're just in the dark as I am."

Joe asked Elizabeth if Shanae had ever calmly approached or confronted her about allegedly acting distant before Shanae threw her under a bus to Clayton.

"Absolutely not," Elizabeth replied, firmly shaking her head "no" from side to side.
Natasha therefore inferred Shanae had "zeroed in" on Elizabeth during the group date for some reason.
"Did you and Clayton have some sort of weird bond that we just didn't see in the episode?... Why do you think she zeroed in on you?" Natasha asked the 32-year-old real estate advisor from Highlands Ranch, CO.

"I mean, it's hard to say. On that first group date, as soon as we got on the bus to go together, she kind of sat on one end and I sat on the other," Elizabeth shared.
"I asked her and invited her, 'Come dance with us! Do you want some fruit snacks?' But whatever, she kept her distance and then we went in to do our little game with ZIWE."
Elizabeth recalled sitting down next to Clayton for that game, revealing, "I think that was her first trigger, like, she came in and really wanted to go, like, completely all in and do all that it took."
Elizabeth therefore suggested Shanae felt jealous or threatened by the short one-on-one time Elizabeth had gotten to spend with Clayton during that group date.
"So I sat next to him first, and I think that was the beginning of the end!" Elizabeth explained.

Natasha pointed out how any of the girls could have done the same thing and so she's curious as to whether Shanae would have went off on another girl the same way.

In addition to calling Elizabeth a "bully" and more, Shanae also mocked Elizabeth's ADHD diagnosis on the show.
Elizabeth told Shanae that it's difficult for her to process multiple auditory inputs at once and so she may have been unable to focus on Shanae when conversing with more than one girl at a time.
"The other girls don't know the real story and they're still looking at me like 'poor Elizabeth.' No poor f-cking Shanae because she's lying about me to everyone and making me look bad!" Shanae complained in a recent episode.
Shanae also made comments such as "ADHD my ass" behind Elizabeth's back, and so Elizabeth took to TikTok earlier this month to advise people on what they should do when someone tells you he or she battles a mental illness.
As "Super Rich Kids" by Frank Ocean song played in the background, Elizabeth pointed at five different text captions that flashed across the screen.
"Acknowledge what they shared," Elizabeth began.
"Thank them for their vulnerability. Understand that you do not understand. NEVER weaponize it."
And the final piece of advice Elizabeth gave her followers was, "BE A GOOD PERSON!!"
When Elizabeth uploaded her video, she also wrote, "It's okay to not be okay."
