The Bachelor bachelorette Sierra Jackson feels Shanae Ankney was "a chicken" and just ran away after starting drama at the football group-date afterparty.

Sierra dished on Shanae's decision to crash an afterparty that Shanae wasn't invited to during a recent appearance on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast hosted by Becca Kufrin and co-hosted by Serena Pitt.

"When she showed up, I was like, 'Wait, what the?!' And it threw me off," Sierra said. "None of us knew why she was there."
Sierra explained that multiple women warned Clayton about Shanae's behavior at the afterparty, only to have Shanae awkwardly and unexpectedly show up about halfway through the night.

"What threw us was after we chatted with him, time goes by and all of a sudden [Shanae] pops up out of nowhere and she comes to us and I'm sitting there in my gown and with my body glitter," Sierra explained with a laugh.
"I'm sitting there and I'm like, 'B-tch, say my name!' Because she starts saying things. She comes up and she obviously looks like she's about to attack, and she's like, '[Genevieve Parisi] and Sierra, keep my name out of your mouth,' and that whole thing," Sierra said.
Sierra told Becca and Serena that Shanae then picked up the winning team's golden trophy from the group date earlier that day.
"That's why we were all like, 'Wait, what are you doing? What's your M-O?' And then she throws it and we're just kind of like, 'What the heck? What was the point of that?'" Sierra shared.
"And then she storms off. And so we all start kind of giggling. We were like, 'This is comical! She's crazy!' We were yelling at her to come back because I'm thinking, 'Hey, if you're going to start something finish it! Come back!'"

Sierra complained, "You can't come out and do something crazy and then not stay for the rest of it."

Sierra essentially called Shanae out for being too afraid to face the consequences of her actions after sparking conflict.
"If you're going to confront and be confrontational, confront and stay there and have a conversation and talk about it," Sierra griped.
"If you're going to do something and run away like a chicken, then don't do it in the first place!"

Sierra explained that she and Genevieve initially planned to keep Shanae out of their conversations with Clayton that night.
"It was crazy because at that cocktail [party], Genevieve and I, we sat down and had a chat. We chatted and were like, 'We're not going to say anything to Clayton unless he asks because there's been so much drama and we had such a wonderful day,'" Sierra insisted.
Sierra said she and Genevieve didn't want to spoil a fun and "good" day with The Bachelor star.
"We wanted to have one good day, one good cocktail party -- with absolutely no drama. So [we agreed], 'Unless Clayton asks, we're not going to tell him. We're just going to try to squash it and try to let this whole Shanae thing dissolve.'"
Sierra and Genevieve apparently had hope they could move on from the Shanae drama as long as they didn't perpetuate it.

"At first we were like, 'Tell him, tell him, tell him!' And then we were like, 'You know, it's been such a good day, let's try to make it dissolve. Shanae was good today.' It's like a kid -- she was good today! You know?" Sierra explained.

Sierra said Shanae was "not petty" that day but none of the women knew what Shanae had been saying in her boastful and controversial confessionals, which the bachelorettes call "ITMs."
"We were thinking, 'Maybe she really wants to change. She still hasn't apologized to anybody, but maybe she wants to change and just be better and just be chill.' And so we were like, 'Okay, let's just not say anything unless he asks,'" Sierra shared.
But then of course Clayton asked about Shanae!
"So obviously we tell him," Sierra recalled. "We were honest with him about how she had been and the truth behind the situation. 'She's not interacting with us and she is isolating herself.'"
Sierra said the girls were "just being real" in order to protect themselves because Shanae had allegedly been "attacking" everybody.
Marlena Wesh recently said on the "Talking It Out with Bachelor Nation" podcast that Shanae was "very good at gaslighting" other people on the show, and Sierra also accused Shanae of being "delusional."
Sierra claimed Shanae kept dodging the women's attempts to talk about her bullying allegations against Elizabeth and others.
On The Bachelor's 26th season, Shanae told Clayton that Elizabeth was "a bully" and "toxic" to the house, and Lyndsey Windham also left a conversation with Clayton crying during a group date because Shanae had tattled on her for allegedly being a bully as well.
Shanae and Elizabeth's feud ran through multiple episodes of The Bachelor.

It all began when Shanae accused Elizabeth of being "fake" and "two-faced" because Elizabeth had allegedly acted like her friend one minute only to ignore her the next.

Elizabeth apologized to Shanae for making her feel left out. Elizabeth explained she may not have heard Shanae talking to her in a group setting because she struggles to process multiple auditory inputs at once, but Shanae mocked Elizabeth and fired back, "ADHD my ass!"
Tension mounted when Shanae claimed she had cooked shrimp for the girls and no one wanted any.
Shanae believed Elizabeth -- who allegedly did not acknowledge Shanae's presence while she was sitting in a hot tub -- had turned everyone against her, and the argument came to be known as #ShrimpGate.
Despite having been called a liar and worse, Elizabeth attempted to bury the hatchet with Shanae multiple times and respectfully move on from the drama.
Clayton, however, ended up keeping Shanae and eliminating Elizabeth during the third Rose Ceremony of Season 26, which upset many The Bachelor viewers.
After the episode of Elizabeth's ouster aired, Clayton issued a public apology on both Instagram and Twitter.
"I'm sorry, Elizabeth, for what you're going through. I wish I could have seen what was happening when I wasn't there," Clayton wrote.
"I obviously knew y'all weren't in a good place with each other, but I thought at the time that it was, solely, petty drama. I would have sent Shanae home immediately for making fun of you for being neurodivergent, had I known."

Clayton also said watching Season 26 back "hasn't been fun" because he's seeing "the damage" he caused and "the repercussions" from his decisions.

Clayton promised he's learning from his mistakes and wants to come out of this experience a better man, and he reminded everyone that "mental health matters," including his own.
He also recently tweeted, "I'm looking forward to having an open and honest discussion at [The Women Tell All] with what all happened. It's important to hold people accountable, including myself."
Elizabeth replied to Clayton's tweet, "I'm ready," and later posted a lengthy statement on Instagram about how she had felt tormented, attacked, bullied, and physically abused while competing for Clayton's heart.
However, Elizabeth defended Clayton and also informed her followers that Shanae's mental health matters as well.
Meanwhile, Shanae has not apologized or shown any indication of remorse on social media.
Instead, she posted lighthearted video clips of shrimp and herself dancing in her "The Bachelor Bowl" jersey while watching the latest episode.
