Hannah from Alabama got her heart broken by Colton Underwood on The Bachelor's 23rd season after some dramatic ups and downs in which she struggled to be confident and also feuded with fellow bachelorette Caelynn Miller-Keyes.
Hannah dubbed herself "the beast" and a "hot mess" at times, but The Bachelorette producers apparently saw something special in the beauty queen and decided she'd make for an entertaining lead for Season 15.
"I don't think she expected to be the Bachelorette, nor did she desire to be the Bachelorette after her season," Ben explained.
"So, this is all kind of a shock, which makes it really fun because it's kind of, like, watching any one of us that would be placed in this crazy environment. So, I'm really excited for her season."
When asked what advice he'd give the 24-year-old ahead of The Bachelorette's May 13 premiere on ABC, Ben expressed, "Just be almost unapologetically yourself."
"She has quirkiness [and] this funny sense of humor. She, like, makes weird facial expressions and says weird things at times," Ben told the magazine.
"And that's a really endearing quality that I hope she doesn't lose. [I hope] she doesn't try to become too much of the model of a Bachelorette and just stays true to herself."

As for Ben's experience on the franchise, he starred on Season 20 of The Bachelor in early 2016.
After professing his love to two women -- JoJo Fletcher and Lauren Bushnell -- Ben chose Lauren in the finale and proposed marriage to her. The couple, however, split after about a year together and starring in a Happily Ever After? spinoff on Freeform in May 2017.
Ben is now dating Jessica Clarke, a Nashville-based brunette beauty who never competed on The Bachelor.
