"The Bachelor" star Ben Higgins and new fiancee Lauren Bushnell enjoyed their first public date on Wednesday.
"First date, many more to come," Bushnell wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the pair holding hands together next to a bottle of wine.
"First date success! Even got a surprise meeting from the man himself @chefmarcmurphy!," Higgins added in a second post on Instagram next to a photo of himself and Bushnell posing with Landmarc chef and "Chopped" judge Marc Murphy.
Higgins and Bushnell were shown getting engaged Monday during the season finale of "The Bachelor."
The two love birds plan on walking down the aisle soon, with Higgins telling "Extra,""Hopefully soon, like, very soon. When I say soon, I would love to say early 2017, [late] 2016. When asked about broadcasting their wedding on television he added, "We're open to it, I think it'd be fun."
