The Bachelor couple Kelsey Anderson and Joey Graziadei have gushed about why they're a perfect match and what they love most about each other.

Joey chose Kelsey over his runner-up, Daisy Kent, on The Bachelor's 28th season, which ended with Joey and Kelsey getting engaged in Tulum, Mexico.

Joey and Kelsey are still together and growing in love, and according to the newly-engaged couple, they are meant to be.

Joey and Kelsey shared why that's the case during a joint appearance on the March 27 episode of the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast, which is co-hosted by Bachelor in Paradise spouses Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt.

For starters, Kelsey confirmed that Joey is definitely her type.

"I think that my type is -- I mean, he's obviously so handsome," Kelsey gushed during Part 2 of the couple's lengthy interview.

"But my type, really, is more so about personality. [I go for] kind men who treat me with respect and are fun and that I enjoy [spending] my time with. And that's Joey."

Joey said his favorite quality about Kelsey is how she is a "light" in his life and brings an "infectious energy" to the table that is so different and unique from anyone else.

"I've never met someone like her before. She has this goofiness and light to her... It makes her stand out, for sure," Joey boasted of his fiancee.

Kelsey, in turn, told Joe and Serena that she appreciates how "kind and intentional" Joey is with everything that he does.

"Even from The Women Tell All, everybody still adored him," Kelsey noted, referencing the reunion of most of Joey's exes from The Bachelor season. "Nobody was angry at him... and I think he grounds me a lot. I need that."

While Joey grounds Kelsey, Joey shared how he can be too "chill" sometimes and Kelsey manages to get him off the couch.

"I need that. If I have someone who's too low-key, I'm going to be boring and low-key too, so it's a necessity," Joey said, adding how Kelsey inspires him to leave the house and try new things.

"My older sister said that's what she loves most about Kelsey, is she brings out my silly side. My family sees it, and my best friends do, but a lot of times, I take stuff too seriously -- and [Kelsey] doesn't allow me too, in any way."

Kelsey also gushed about how she believes the Philadelphia native, who also lived in Hawaii for a while, will be "an amazing husband" based on the pattern of his words and actions.

"[And] he's going to be an amazing father," Kelsey said during a separate joint interview with People.

"Through this whole experience, I saw so many qualities in him that just really struck me. A lot of those qualities were what my dad showed and I saw them in Joey, which my mom always told me, 'You need to find somebody that has the same qualities as your dad,' and I do feel like I found that."

Kelsey's mother, Denise Anderson, passed away from breast cancer in 2018, and then Kelsey's dad, Mark Anderson, stepped up to take care of his family.

Mark had also supported and taken good care of his wife before she died, and many fans in Bachelor Nation are hoping he competes on The Golden Bachelorette or stars on Season 2 of The Golden Bachelor.

Joey also reiterated to People how he and Kelsey really balance each other out.

"I have a tendency sometimes to take things too serious, to overthink things, to just kind of not be able to sometimes let it be what it's going to be, and she does that with ease," Joey said.

"She just has this fun energy about her. No matter whoever she meets in the room, she makes them feel seen and special... I've always said, 'I can't imagine how I wouldn't enjoy life when I have her by my side.'"

Joey plans to visit Kelsey in her hometown of New Orleans, and then the couple will be moving to New York City this summer together.

Kelsey and the tennis pro have big travel plans for this year, but they're also looking forward to the little things.

"There's dance classes, pottery classes, grocery shopping -- little things together and the big things. I'm just excited to do life together and just run to the store together," Kelsey explained to the magazine.

And Joey noted how he can't wait to "see the world" with Kelsey, adding, "But then also just be a normal couple because we haven't gotten a chance to do that yet, so a lot to look forward to."
