Matt Grant and Shayne Lamas have confirmed that their engagement has ended the same way as every other The Bachelor couple before them -- without a wedding.

Neither Grant nor Lamas would elaborate further on their split, however the announcement comes only a few days after a report that Lamas had traveled to Las Vegas and cheated on Grant with Vegas media mogul Justin Wenerger first surfaced. Lamas then reportedly broke-up with Grant via a phone call.
Grant presented Lamas with his final rose and a marriage proposal -- both of which she accepted -- during The Bachelor: London Calling's pre-taped finale broadcast in May.
Although they hadn't set a wedding date, Lamas had insisted she and Grant were destined to walk down the aisle together during a post-finale interview with Reality TV World.
"We're madly in love and we're not going to put any pressure on ourselves," Lamas told Reality TV World. "We're in it until the end. We're engaged and we're going to get married and it's forever."
Speculation that the engaged couple had already called it quits accelerated when he moved out of Lamas' Century City, CA condominium last month, however Grant maintained his stay at Lamas' home was always intended to be "a stop-gap."
Lamas characterized rumors that she and Grant had split as "completely not true" during ABC's The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose special earlier this month.
During the After the Rose appearance, Lamas also commented on earlier rumors that she'd been spotted with other men.
"I have friends, I grew-up in this town," Lamas said. "I go out with my friends and Matt is such a wonderful man that he allows me to have my freedom and to keep my friends that I already have. So if I'm out with my group of friends, of course they're going to be like, 'Shayne Lamas is now dating blah, blah, blah.' You can't believe everything that you read, and I'm sure people know that."
The Bachelor: London Calling represented the ABC reality series' twelfth installment -- none of which have actually produced a wedding between its star and his selected suitor.
