The Bachelor fans worked themselves into a tizzy when a photo that appeared to spoil the season's ending by showing one of Ben Higgins' remaining bachelorettes wearing an engagement ring surfaced on Instagram.

Lauren Bushnell, one of the frontrunners on The Bachelor, sparked the frenzy when her friend posted an Instagram photo Tuesday showing Bushnell standing with three of her girlfriends and sporting what appeared to be an engagement ring on her left hand.
The photo sparked speculation of an accidental spoiler, with fans questioning whether Higgins gave Bushnell that ring at the end of his journey on the ABC reality dating show.
But, according to TMZ, the photo does not reveal whom Higgins picked -- and potentially proposed to -- during Season 20's finale because it was taken back on September 2. That date was two months before Higgins selected his final bachelorette in November.
Bushnell was therefore just wearing a ring on her left hand for the fun of it. The blonde flight attendant clearly wasn't engaged or married while competing on The Bachelor.
Bachelor Nation is probably sensitive to accidental social media spoilers considering Kaitlyn Bristowe prematurely released a Snapchat photo of herself lying in bed with current fiance Shawn Booth in the middle of her The Bachelorette edition last summer. Producers were furious Bristowe let the cat out of the bag when so many suitors still remained on that season.
The Bachelor airs every Monday night from 8-10PM ET/PT on ABC. Higgins currently still has 11 bachelorettes in the running for his heart.
