The Bachelor host Chris Harrison thinks Lauren Burnham is in a league of her own on Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s season of the show.

Arie visited the hometowns of Lauren, Becca Kufrin, Tia Booth, and Kendall Long on Monday night's episode of The Bachelor.

While Arie was nervous before meeting each family and desperate to make a good impression at each stop, Arie's emotions were running high and his sensitivity was clearly heightened before being introduced to Lauren's parents and relatives in Virginia Beach.

"On a scale from 1 to having a complete meltdown, I'm at about an 8," Arie confessed on the show.

"As you could see, it was a little different from the others," Chris wrote in his Entertainment Weekly blog. "For some reason, Arie seemed the most nervous about this date."

At one point during dinner with Lauren's family, Arie had to excuse himself from the table to wipe sweat off his forehead. He admitted he was "freaking out," desperate to please Lauren's family, who weren't afraid to hit him with some hard questions.

"Maybe it was for the same reason he seemed so shaken on his last date with Lauren," Chris reasoned.

"Arie has had a hard time this season quantifying his relationship with Lauren (not that there's anything wrong with that!), and I think he knew it was going to be tough to try to explain that to some appropriately skeptical family members."

For several weeks now, Arie has seemed the most smitten and invested in Lauren out of all his bachelorettes.

Arie has received criticism, however, for being obsessed with Lauren's stunning looks, because otherwise, his attraction to her is a bit of a mystery to viewers since she's the most guarded, reserved and generally quiet woman in the bunch.

Lauren has had trouble opening up to Arie and sharing stories about herself, while other bachelorettes were able to express their infatuation or feelings of love on their very first one-on-one date.

Arie also opened up about an extremely personal and difficult time in his life to only Lauren. He revealed that his ex-girlfriend suffered a miscarriage with his baby and then left him while he was out of town for racing.

"Arie's relationship with Lauren is clearly different from the others," Chris reiterated in his blog, "and it will be interesting to see how that plays out in the coming weeks."

After traveling across the country, Arie chose to deny Tia a rose at the Rose Ceremony held in Los Angeles.

"It was terrible to see Tia go home. She was so blindsided, as anyone would be, but we'll get to hear more from her this coming Sunday at The Women Tell All. You'll also get to hear from [Bekah Martinez], [Seinne Fleming], and [Krystal Nielson]! It's gonna be a wild one," Chris teased.

"Then, on Monday, the romantic overnight dates take us to the magical land of Ica, Peru."
