The Bachelor host Chris Harrison can't mask his excitement for Colton Underwood's upcoming season, promising it's going to be one for the books!

"There's twists and turns this season unlike anything we've ever had before, and that's just because of who Colton is, things that happen on the show, things that he brought out, the women. So it's a wild, emotional ride, for sure."
A recently-released trailer for The Bachelor's new season featured Colton, a 26-year-old charity founder and former professional football player, running off the set and jumping over a six-foot fence to avoid producers and cameras.
An astounded Chris was left in the background calling for Colton to return.
Not only will there be the usual tears and drama, but Chris teased a very compelling storyline.
"I think [people] are going to respect the fact [Colton] is so open, so vulnerable, so emotional," Chris told E! News in a separate interview. "It's a pretty gut-wrenching, wild ride with him."
But will it be the most dramatic season ever of The Bachelor? As fans are well aware, Chris seems to say that every single year.
"Is it the most dramatic? I don't even really need to pump this season up that much because of what you're about to see," Chris told E! News. "I'm excited for everyone to get to see him for who he really is -- the man."

Chris added that he likes and respects Colton and anticipates America will fall in love with him because he's simply "a good man." Colton will also apparently dig deep in explaining why he decided to keep his virginity intact all this time.
"I'm really eager for people to get to see what I saw... There are a lot of conversations that need to be had because Colton has been very vocal about the fact he's a virgin. So how does that affect each relationship?... How does he handle it?" Chris noted of the former The Bachelorette 14 and Bachelor in Paradise 5 participant.

"We'll be diving in to why Colton is the way he is, and he really opens up, and I think people are going to be blown away -- blown away by him," Chris revealed.
Colton's search for love and a future wife on The Bachelor began on September 21, when filming commenced in Los Angeles, CA.
The Bachelor's executive producer, Mike Fleiss, teased in September on Twitter that Colton's group of bachelorettes this season will be the "greatest cast of women -- ever!"

The Bachelor's 23rd season will premiere Monday, January 7 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
