The Bachelor's Lauren Bushnell is sharing her feelings on ex-fiance Ben Higgins potentially starring on the show's next season in 2019.

Ben already starred on The Bachelor once, back in 2016. The show's 20th season ended with Ben and Lauren getting engaged, but they split after more than one year together.

Since Ben is a genuine and valued member of Bachelor Nation and still has yet to find love -- even after a half-hearted appearance on The Bachelor Winter Games -- rumors have swirled producers are eyeing him to become the Bachelor a second time.
"Um, I mean... I hold my tongue. No I'm just kidding! I hope he finds someone honestly, like, he's such a good guy and he would make such a good husband," Lauren told Us Weekly when asked for a reaction to the rumors.

"So no matter what avenue he wants to go about to find that, I'm supportive."
After Ben and Lauren got engaged on The Bachelor, they starred in a Freeform spinoff together entitled Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?.
But the series did not air a happily-ever-after type of ending, as Ben was shown calling off their televised wedding and getting cold feet.
The spinoff prompted the demise of Lauren and Ben's relationship, as Lauren has said didn't want to star on Happily Ever After? to begin with.
All the while, Lauren was also still reeling from the fact Ben had professed his love to The Bachelor's runner-up, JoJo Fletcher, as well.

"If he does go through with it again I hope it works out because I can't imagine going through what I went through and I'm sure what he went through on his end, twice," continued the former flight attendant, who reportedly had trouble embracing her life with Ben in Denver, CO, after The Bachelor filmed because she missed her family and friends in California.
"So for me personally if I were in his position, that would be scary. But I also don't think that should ever hold you back from a good opportunity or experience or possibly finding someone to spend your life with."
Ben made headlines for months at the end of The Bachelor because of his profession of love to two women. Lauren also never heard the end of it once JoJo was selected to become The Bachelorette's twelfth-season star.
Ben and Lauren announced they had called it quits on their engagement in May 2017.

Lauren, however, quickly moved on with her current boyfriend Devin Antin, whom she had met on Tinder.
While Lauren would be supportive of Ben starring on The Bachelor again, she's not sure she's interested in ever appearing on a reality TV show again.

"I hate saying like never -- I don't want to close the door before it's even open because that's not even a discussion right now," Lauren told Us. "And my initial response would be no, but depending on what it is or where I am in my life, it's hard to tell I guess. But right this second, no."
"I've realized I'm so much better without cameras around me. I'm just enjoying my family and my friends and back to my normal life, so to kind of throw a wrench in it, to throw myself back into reality TV sounds kind of overwhelming," she added.

But depending on what the show might be about, Lauren reiterated her answer would be "maybe."
"If you would have asked me four years ago if I would do The Bachelor, I would have been like, 'What? What are you talking about? No.' But I did it! So it's hard to say no to something but right now probably not," Lauren explained.
ABC has yet to announce who will serve as the leading man of The Bachelor's 23rd season, but Becca Kufrin's ex-boyfriends -- Blake Horstmann, Jason Tartick and Colton Underwood from The Bachelorette -- are all potential options.
