"Will I always use the right words at the right times, especially when I’m feeling a lot of different emotions? Absolutely not."

Madina, a 31-year-old mental health therapist from Charlotte, NC, told Joey on last week's February 5 episode of The Bachelor, "Some girls were saying, 'She's not even that old,' which felt very invalidating. And then yesterday, one of the girls came up to me and was mad that I wouldn't tell her who told me that she said the comment about [being old]."
"If I have to describe it," she continued in her chat with The Bachelor star, "I felt like I was being bullied. 'Tell me who it is. Tell me who it is.' And I kept saying, 'Can we please just move past it? That's not why we're here.'"
Madina never dropped Maria Georgas' name during her confession to Joey, but Joey later found out that Maria was the alleged "bully" from her enemy in the house, Sydney Gordon.
Although Madina apparently regrets throwing the strong word "bullied" out there when she seemingly intended to say "nagged" or "pestered," she shared that she doesn't regret speaking to Joey about her feelings and being forthcoming with information.
"[What] I will never, ever regret -- even if it gives me backlash -- is opening up and being vulnerable," Madina said in her video.
Madina included screenshots of comments from trolls online, including one that read, "They should call you MANDINA ugly ass."
And another hater wrote to the bachelorette, "[You're] a dumb b-tch. Also why does your face always look constipated? lol."
And then on Monday, February 12, Madina posted a second video sharing her truth.
Madina explained how she feels insecure sometimes -- and had been feeling insecure about her age on The Bachelor -- and she's not always confident in herself, despite appearances.

"I will never regret being open and vulnerable. At first, I obviously regretted saying it. But looking back now, I don't regret it, even though it morphed into this obviously huger issue," Madina reiterated.
"If I can just be an example to one person to be open and vulnerable and to remind people it's okay to have insecurities... it's worth it."
She added, "It's okay to have insecurities and it's okay to be vulnerable -- just not on national television."

Although Madina and Maria were shown talking things out and squashing their beef over the "bullied" claim, Sydney -- who also felt bullied by Maria -- brought her concerns to Joey's attention.
Sydney threw Maria under the bus by telling Joey about how she thought Maria was a catty "bully" and a manipulative "mean girl."
Sydney told The Bachelor star, "She attacked me and I sat there and maintained my composure. She called me embarrassing, weird and dumb. I ended up walking away. I just couldn't be in that hostile environment."
Maria, in turn, denied the allegations and insisted that she'd never bully another woman, mainly because she had been bullied as a child and knows how it feels.

Joey was confused about which woman was at fault and whom to believe, and so he decided to give both Maria and Sydney a rose at the third Rose Ceremony of The Bachelor's 28th season.
After footage of Maria and Sydney's feud aired on ABC, Maria simply asked The Bachelor viewers to "stay positive and kind" to everyone on the show.
Maria recently wrote via Instagram Stories, "Emotions are high but please stay positive and kind to everyone involved."
But Sydney aimed a lengthy gaslighting rant at Maria in an Instagram post.
"Now, if you watch The Bachelor, you might see it in the previous [January 29] episode," Sydney said, seemingly referring to Maria's behavior.
"Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation where an abuser is trying to cause self-doubt and confusion in one's mind. Gaslighters tend to seek control by gaining power, and they do so by distorting their reality so that the victim is forced to question their own judgment and intuition."

Sydney went on to give three examples of gaslighting. Sydney's first example was "denying that something ever happened."
"It could be somebody saying that they never said something... [claiming] it's something against their character. That makes the victim think.... 'Maybe I heard it wrong,'" Sydney said.
The second example was "trivializing your feelings and emotions."
Sydney explained that after a person expresses his or her feelings of hurt, a gaslighter may respond with, "You're making a big deal out of nothing. That's crazy."
Sydney said a gaslighter doesn't want to take responsibility for a mistake, and so the person may shift the blame and undermine the victim's thoughts. The gaslighter may also deflect their own feelings or problems onto the victim.

"I also want to point out that this is a reality TV show and so drama is exaggerated to make it entertaining," Sydney concluded. "So let's please not give any hate, because at the end of the day, we're all real people."
The Bachelor bachelorettes Allison Hollinger and Edwina Dorbor both took Maria's side in the dispute.
Allison claimed Maria was just "bold" and being herself, and Edwina insisted that Maria, although very "straightforward" with people, wasn't a bully at all and that Sydney was "blowing things out of proportion."
And The Bachelor's Jenn Tran weighed in with her thoughts about the conflict during a recent appearance on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast. She said the issue was "blown out of proportion" and Maria remains one of her best friends to this day.
