The Bachelor star Nick Viall definitely isn't oblivious to all the drama going down when he's not around.

In fact, Viall told ABC News that he knows "quite a bit" about tension between the women competing to win his heart.

"I was probably more aware of things than some of the women realized," Viall insisted.

In recent weeks, most of the drama has derived from Corinne Olympios' actions, and things escalated quickly between the season's villain and Taylor Nolan, a mental health counselor.

"But, you don't know everything," Viall continued. "You don't know every conversation that's being talked about, I don't get to hear the women's interviews that they're giving. But I always had a pretty good idea of what was going on."

Some viewers have called this season "The Corinne Show" rather than The Bachelor because Olympios receives all the attention from cameras. She's also the bachelorette everyone has been talking about since she tends to stir up trouble, strip her clothes off and make catty yet funny one-liners in confessionals.

"I'm not surprised that people are talking a lot about Corinne," Viall confessed. "She's got a big personality and she's certainly willing to show that, and she doesn't edit herself."

Viall has already been warned by Nolan, Vanessa Grimaldi, and Raven Gates that Olympios is not the girl for him. They claimed on the show she wouldn't be ready for marriage and basically only had her sexuality going for her.

"I wasn't really there to solicit the opinions of everyone else," Viall declared. "You have to make your own decision, especially when it comes to your relationships. While I respected all their opinions, it really was up to me to decide which relationship was right for me."

Viall eliminated six bachelorettes in the latest episode of The Bachelor, which concluded with a tearful conversation in which Viall told the remaining ladies he fears this process is not going to work out for him. Viall even questioned if he could go on.

"I didn't really go in there with an agenda," Viall said. "In that moment... I wanted to make sure the women understood where I was coming from, I thought it was just best that I be up front with them. It was just me expressing how I felt."

Viall's goal was simply to be honest and upfront with these women at all times.

"It's a very different environment because the Bachelor is dating multiple people," he noted, "but I think in any relationship it's always important to let that person know where you stand. Communication is key."
