The Bachelor star Nick Viall is reacting to news of Kaitlyn Bristowe and her fiance Shawn Booth's split.

Not only did Nick pick out an engagement ring for Kaitlyn, but he was also rejected at the final Rose Ceremony right after he had delivered a beautiful speech and began to kneel down on one knee.
"Andi is a great young lady, and I couldn't be more thankful that she picked [Josh Murray]," Nick told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show in January 2017. "[I'm even] more thankful Kaitlyn picked Shawn."
Nick seemed to have strong feelings about Kaitlyn back then, but since she's single again, how does Nick feel now?
During a recent appearance on Heather McDonald's Juicy Scoop podcast, Nick was asked if he'd be willing to get back together with Kaitlyn now that Shawn is out of the picture.
"I don't think so," Nick admitted on the podcast. "They dated for three and a half years, that's pretty good. I mean, most people aren't married for three and a half years."
Nick, 38, appeared devastated at the end of Kaitlyn's The Bachelorette season when she decided to give her final rose to Shawn and accept a marriage proposal from him.

"My guess is everyone knew except for me that Kaitlyn was going to pick Shawn," Nick said. "I probably got whatever B-list rings they had available."
However, Nick moved on. After appearing on a season of Bachelor in Paradise, he starred on The Bachelor's 21st season in 2017.
Nick proposed marriage to his winner, Vanessa Grimaldi, during The Bachelor finale that aired in March 2017, but the couple called it quits on their romance in August of that year.

Nick suggested on the podcast, however, Vanessa was the only woman he made love to on his edition of The Bachelor.
"Let's say for example, you have an idea of who you might pick and you want to try to make it work and you don't want to have that awkward conversation, 'Hey, I love you, but I had sex with someone a week ago that wasn't you,'" Nick, whose runner-up was Raven Gates, explained to Heather.
"Then you try not to have sex with other people."

Kaitlyn and Shawn announced their breakup earlier this month.
"After three incredible years, we have decided to go our separate ways. This difficult decision comes after thoughtful, respectful consideration," the former couple had said in a media statement.
"Even though we are parting as a couple, we're very much committed to remaining friends. We have both evolved as people, which is taking us in different directions, but with the hope that we will continue to support each other in new ways."
