The Bachelor star Peter Weber eliminated Kelsey Weier after hometown dates and gave Victoria Fuller a rose after his ex-girlfriend warned him about Victoria's alleged poor character and scandalous past during Monday night's Season 24 episode on ABC.

After visiting his Final 4 bachelorettes' hometowns, Peter handed out roses to Hannah Ann Sluss, Madison Prewett, and Victoria F.

"I'm just still in shock and, like, confused," Kelsey said following her ouster.

"I just honestly didn't expect to fall for him as hard as I did, but I fell -- and he didn't. It hurts really bad."

The Bachelor broadcast began with Peter saying one of his Final 4 women was going to be his future wife.

Peter visits Hannah Ann in Knoxville

Peter's first visit was to Knoxville, TN, to see Hannah Ann, who took the Bachelor to Smoky Mountain Axe House, where she wanted to make a real, tough man out of Peter.

Hannah Ann explained that given her father, "Ranger Rick," works in the lumber industry, he'd be impressed to find out Peter, a California boy, could throw an axe and chop some wood.

Hannah Ann said Peter had the unique ability to make her forget about everything else in the world.

Peter said he could always have fun with Hannah Ann and he knew exactly how he was feeling about her. Peter therefore didn't want to hold back and shared a letter he had written for Hannah Ann.

Peter listed all the things he loved about Hannah Ann, including how she's so intentional and gave him butterflies every time he saw her. Hannah Ann thought the gesture was "the sweetest thing" and said it melted her heart.

Hannah Ann's heart was starting to fall for Peter, and she just hoped her family would get behind her and support her.

Hannah Ann then introduced Peter to her family, who nearly all cried when they saw Hannah Ann again. Hannah Ann's father Rick set out to discover how Peter really felt about Hannah Ann.

In the meantime, Hannah Ann gushed to her sister about how she was falling in love with Peter and he had written her a letter of all the 20 qualities he loved about her. Hannah Ann's sister cried because she could tell how happy her sister was.

Peter told Hannah Ann's mother Jennifer it meant the world to him to hear Hannah Ann was falling in love with him and he planned to tell the bachelorette the same in return.

But since Hannah Ann is the oldest child and first girl, Jennifer warned the Bachelor that Rick wasn't just going to give his blessing away to any man. Jennifer noted Rick is protective and guarded and so Peter would have his work cut out for him.

Rick asked Peter how he saw a future with Hannah Ann vs. the other three bachelorettes, and Peter said their relationship was real and they both had a thirst to make the most out of life.

However, when Peter revealed he was falling for Hannah Ann, Rick said that was a "very, very serious" statement and he wasn't expecting to hear that.

"I ask you as a father -- I'd rather you not say that to her unless you truly mean it, and I am sincere when I say that," Rick said.

"Do not say that word to her unless you wholeheartedly mean it and that's what you're going to do."

Once the gathering ending, Peter told Hannah Ann outside her house that he respected Rick a lot because of how much he cares for his daughter.

Despite Rick's request to contain the "L" word, Peter told Hannah Ann, "I know how I'm feeling about you, and I can honestly say I am falling in love with you... It feels so right and you make me so happy."

Hannah Ann was overjoyed and said she's "in it" -- both committed and devoted. Hannah Ann was sure their relationship was going to work, and Peter said he could definitely envision getting down on one knee for her, 100 percent.

"I'm in love with you," Hannah Ann told Peter before he left. "I love you."

Peter gushed about how good it felt to hear someone felt for him in that way. After all, he wanted to find a woman who would love him the same way he'd love her in return.

Peter visits Kelsey in Des Moines

Peter then took off to Des Moines, IA, to meet Kelsey's family.

For the day portion of their date, Peter and Hannah Ann went to a winery, where they stomped grapes and made their own bottle of wine.

Kelsey said she realized she was in love with Peter when she was in Peru and regretted not telling him that, so before Peter met her loved ones, Kelsey opened up at the winery.

"I can honestly say that I am in love with you, and I know my family will see that," Kelsey shared.

Peter gave the bachelorette just a kiss in reply and then told Kelsey her heart being open to him had been very reassuring and he could definitely see a future with them together.

After dinner, Kelsey chatted with her sisters and shared how her relationship with Peter started off serious and they quickly learned how to communicate with each other. Kelsey said she was always vulnerable around Peter and he had all the qualities she wanted in a future husband.

Kelsey said if Peter proposed marriage to her, she would say, "Yes."

Meanwhile, Peter talked to Kelsey's mother Beth and revealed he and Kelsey had connected on an emotional level.

"When she loves, she loves like no other. It takes a lot for her, and I guess that's why I'm so shocked we're here today, to be honest, because it proves you're a very special person. Because no one has ever done this," Beth told the Bachelor.

As a mother of three who went through a painful divorce, Beth told Peter, "Don't break my girl's heart. Do you understand?"

Peter obliged, and then Kelsey was shown crying to her stepdad Mike about how Peter had strong feelings for her but she didn't know exactly what that meant. Kelsey was scared, and Mike thought she had every reason to be.

Kelsey also told her mother that Peter had accepted the good and the bad in her and she loved him. Beth wished she could protect her daughter but knew she couldn't in this moment.

"Kelsey doesn't say anything she doesn't mean, and she is definitely all in," Beth told the cameras.

"I've never seen her like this before. I 100 percent believe that my daughter is in love. We don't know what the final outcome is going to be, and I... am concerned."

Peter told Kelsey at the end of the date his heart was falling for her, but he left out the word "love."

Kelsey knew Peter was still dating three other women, but all she could hold onto was her confidence in their relationship.

Peter visits Madison in Alabama

Peter then visited Madison at Auburn University, where her father works as an assistant basketball coach.

When the pair reunited, Peter told Madison that he missed her, and she couldn't wait to share her spirit, community and family with The Bachelor star.

Madison showed Peter around the college campus and then took him onto the basketball court, where NBA icon Charles Barkley greeted the couple on the jumbotron.

Bruce Pearl, the head coach of the Auburn Tigers men's basketball program, then showed up in person and said Madison's father was his right-hand man. Bruce said he's a great man and father who set standards and expectations high.

Madison and Peter ran through some basketball drills together and then played a little one-on-one, and she said it was a dream to share her passion with Peter.

Peter admitted he was nervous to meet Madison's family, and she did warn him that winning over her father's support might be a challenge. Peter said he couldn't get enough of Madison and had "the best feeling in the world" about her.

Madison had been waiting a while to open up her heart, and she said if the night with her family went well, she could definitely be falling for Peter.

Peter then met Madison's loved ones, and Peter said Madison inspired him every day.

Madison's family welcomed Peter into a tradition in which someone has a special plate and then the family goes around and shares what they love about that person.

Everyone had flattering things to say about Madison, who had the special plate, and then Peter participated in a follow-up prayer as well as a toast with sweet tea rather than wine or champagne.

Madison's mother Tonya said their family was all about faith and Madison had made decisions about her life that she would need to talk to Peter about.

Madison told Tonya that Peter had the kindest heart of a man she ever met and he always made her feel special, like she's the only woman in the world.

Tonya could tell Peter was nice and handsome, but she didn't know what to say or think.

Madison said she hadn't spoken to Peter yet about her views of intimacy and how she's saving herself for marriage, and so she anticipated a tough and very personal conversation ahead.

Tonya told Madison to maintain her standards and she would know what to do.

Meanwhile, Peter spoke to Madison's father Chad Prewett and shared how he was falling in love with her. Chad asked Peter to assure him that his feelings were genuine, and Peter said he felt amazing with her.

Chad called her "pure" and therefore asked Peter if they were truly compatible. Peter insisted he was willing to put the work in and become the man that she deserves.

Chad didn't want to see his daughter heartbroken, and so he flat out asked Peter, "Do you know?"

"I can tell you this -- if this was the last week..." Peter began.

But Madison's father interrupted Peter and said it wasn't the last week of The Bachelor journey, so then Peter confessed he couldn't give the answer Chad was hoping for.

Chad therefore needed evidence Peter's values and morals aligned with Madison's, and he wasn't so sure they would be a great match.

Madison wanted her father's approval of her relationship, but he said Madison and Peter had known each other for such a short period of time. Chad wasn't ready to say Peter was Madison's future husband, but at the same time, he wasn't feeling the need to close that door.

Madison said the family meeting brought her back to "a harsh reality," and she got a little emotional by the end. But Peter told Madison he understood why her family was a bit skeptical and cared for her immensely.

Madison had been hoping to tell Peter she was in love with him, but she was still wondering if their spirits and souls were compatible. She noted a lot was weighing on that, and Peter said the night turned out to be harder than he had expected it was going to be.

Despite getting grilled and being asked tough questions, Peter felt so confident in his relationship with Madison.

"I think I'm just realizing how serious it is, and that leaves me kind of all over the place right now," Madison told the cameras.

Peter visits Victoria in Virginia Beach

Peter then visited Victoria in Virginia Beach, VA, where she was playing with her dog on the beach. Peter acknowledged their relationship was a little hot and cold but they always managed to work through their issues.

Peter and Victoria took "Old Time Photos" together dressed in costume. Victoria felt she could finally be herself around Peter again, and they had a great day.

Victoria then took Peter to a Hunter Hayes concert, where she and Peter danced and kissed. Victoria said all of the other women just needed to go home because she was going to marry Peter and become Mrs. Weber.

Peter loved to see Victoria so loose, present and out of her head. He had a blast with Victoria and thought they were on the track to a great future.

Merissa Pence warns Peter about Victoria

But then Peter ran into an ex, Merissa Pence, who moved to Virginia Beach a couple of years prior. Merissa warned Peter and told him to "be careful," saying, "I know who you are and I'd hate for you to be affected by someone else."

Merissa said she used to be friends with Victoria but that friendship was now broken and couldn't be repaired.

Merissa told Peter "there have been many relationships broken up because of her" and she didn't think Victoria was a good person or match for him.

Peter told Merissa he was in a very serious spot in the process, and she said she completely understood that.

"It was a complete bomb that just got dropped. I was having the most beautiful time with Victoria today, and now I'm confused," Peter told the cameras.

Victoria said in a confessional her feelings were progressing and her family was going to love Peter, but when he pulled up to the house, Peter was not in a good place emotionally or mentally.

Peter tries to ask Victoria about Merissa's allegations

Peter didn't know what he wanted to do, so he anticipated having a very serious conversation with her that night.

Before going into Victoria's parents' home, Peter brought up how he saw an ex during the concert portion of their date and she had warned him that Victoria had caused a lot of relationships to end.

Peter said he didn't know what Merissa was referring to, and he clearly wanted answers.

"For her to say that is very disappointing. I haven't broken up any relationships. What relationship did she say I broke up?" Victoria asked, before flipping out and getting emotional. "I am just, like, disgusted right now."

Victoria cried about being the center of drama all the time, suggesting she was about ready to quit.

Peter just wanted to know the truth and said he had to bring it up before meeting her family, and Victoria yelled out," Then I don't want to do this!"

"Can we just talk?" Peter said.

"What are we going to say?! There's nothing to f-cking say," Victoria replied.

"I am just asking for the truth," Peter noted.

"Well it doesn't matter anymore Peter because..." Victoria began.

"So you're just giving up on us?" Peter asked.

"You literally just came in here to act like that. Are you kidding me?!" Victoria asked.

"Excuse me?" Peter said.

"Excuse you, what?" Victoria replied.

"I just walked up here and didn't accuse you of anything. I just told you what happened," Peter argued.

"You were supposed to meet my family tonight, and you decided what Merissa told you is more important than meeting my entire family," Victoria countered.

Peter asked Victoria why she was acting that way, and she claimed she had "nothing to say" to him.

Peter asked whether she had ever fought for something she wanted in life. Victoria said she had, but Peter felt she repeatedly gave up on them and repeatedly threatened to throw their relationship away.

"No, I don't agree with you," Victoria snapped, before adding, "I am so done with this conversation right now. I can't do this."

Victoria walked away crying and the cameras followed her.

"I'm so done! I hate this! I can't catch a break," Victoria complained from a distance.

Once she cooled off a little, Peter said he never meant to attack her or seem like he was taking Merissa's side. Peter just felt the need to express his concerns.

"I adore you. I was going to tell you I was falling in love with you, and now, how am I supposed to do that?!" Victoria said, bursting into tears.

Victoria didn't know how to move forward from this, and she pointed out he was supposed to meet her family that night.

"If I give up so easily, then why are you so willing to stay?" Victoria asked.

Peter insisted he cared about Victoria so much and she meant so much to him. He called her out for giving up on their romance twice, and Victoria just continued to cry.

Victoria felt her hopes had been dashed, and then Peter told the bachelorette she deserved to be loved and shouldn't push love away.

Peter then hugged Victoria goodbye and drove off. Peter was on the verge of tears in the car, and then Victoria's mother ran out to hug her in the street.

Victoria comes to Peter's hotel and they reconcile

The next day, Victoria showed up at Peter's hotel room in Virginia Beach. He acknowledged having very strong feelings for Victoria, and so he felt conflicted. Peter said it broke his heart to hear Victoria had been falling in love with him.

Victoria wanted to talk and said she was really sorry for how things went down the night before. Peter was sorry as well, saying their night had been ruined. 

"You don't want me to love you the way I want to love you," Peter said.

Peter told Victoria their communication was lacking and things tended to implode even though he was crazy about her. Peter feared the possibility of Victoria walking away from him, but he said 95 percent of their relationship was wonderful and he loved it.

Victoria said she was trying very hard to open herself up and she couldn't walk away from him. Victoria admitted she was used to running away and the ball was in Peter's court.

Victoria said Peter had to decide what he wanted, but she needed to let him know she was falling in love with him before it was too late.

Peter told Victoria he didn't want to make the decision immediately, so he essentially asked for more time to think. Victoria cried on her way out of the hotel, saying she didn't want to lose him and was "so scared."

Kelsey is sent home at the Rose Ceremony

Peter and his bachelorettes then returned to Los Angeles, CA, for a Rose Ceremony in an aircraft hangar, and he said he didn't know whom he was going to send home.

Once the ladies gathered together, Peter handed out roses to Hannah Ann, Madison, and Victoria.

Peter therefore eliminated Kelsey and apologized whole-heartedly for his decision. Kelsey said she was "in shock" and didn't see it coming at all.

Peter told Kelsey it meant the world to him when she had professed her love to him but he just wasn't there and didn't feel the same way.

Peter told his Final 3 bachelorettes his wife was standing in front of him and they were about to travel to Australia.

Madison, however, wasn't about to compromise who she is, so she asked to speak with Peter in private before continuing on.

The episode then ended on a cliffhanger.
