The Bachelor star Nick Viall sent Taylor Nolan, Sarah Vendal and Astrid Loch packing during Monday night's Season 21 broadcast on ABC.

Nick opted out of giving Sarah, a 26-year-old grade school teacher from Newport Beach, CA, and Astrid, a 26-year-old plastic surgery office manager from Tampa, FL, roses at the season's fourth Rose Ceremony in his hometown of Wisconsin.

"It doesn't feel good. This is not how any of this was supposed to go," Sarah said following her ouster.

"I didn't think I was going home tonight. The fact that someone who is really ready to be here was overshadowed by the drama is a little disappointing. Love is that one thing I want in my life but the one thing I don't really know how to get."

Nick later eliminated Taylor, a 23-year-old mental health counselor from Seattle, WA, instead of Corinne Olympios, a 24-year-old from Miami, FL, during a two-on-one date in New Orleans.

"I'm feeling very confused. He just gave a rose to someone who lied straight to his face," Taylor told the cameras, adding that she wasn't the bully, bad person or villain in this experience.

"I literally just don't get it. I personally don't see him getting married to [Corinne], but at this point, who am I to say? Because over and over and over again, she gets what she wants. And you know what? I'm tired of it."

The Bachelor broadcast picked up right where last week's episode had left off, with Taylor and Corinne bickering at the cocktail party.

Taylor told Corinne that many women in the house were questioning her maturity, which goes hand in hand with "emotional intelligence" -- something Taylor claimed Corinne was lacking. Corinne called Taylor "a dumb bitch" and hated being talked to like she was an idiot.

"Oh wait, she's a f-cking idiot," Corinne said in a confessional.

Corinne told Taylor that she's rude to the other girls and they actually wondered whether she was on the show for the wrong reasons. She thought Taylor was a bully and fake to the other girls, adding that she's "mean and scary."

When Corinne sat down with Nick at the cocktail party, she warned the Bachelor that girls felt "weird" toward Taylor because she's "not nice" in the house.

Corinne clarified her statements by revealing that Taylor deliberately ignores people when she's being spoken to and acts rude and entitled. Corinne insisted Taylor's intentions weren't pure, and Nick asked Corinne to continue being so mature. Taylor assumed Corinne would play dirty, saying it felt like she was in high school again.

"Hashtag winning! The Taylor ship has sailed Bye bitch!" Corinne noted before the Rose Ceremony.

After Nick revealed to Chris Harrison that his decisions were based on his conversations with the women rather than conversations the women had with each other when he wasn't around, he began handing out roses.

Nick gave out roses in the following order: Whitney Fransway, a 25-year-old Pilates instructor from Chanhassen, MN; Danielle Maltby, a 31-year-old neonatal nurse from Nashville, TN; Jasmine Goode, a 29-year-old pro basketball dancer from San Francisco, CA; Rachel Lindsay, a 31-year-old attorney from Dallas, TX; Jaimi King, a 28-year-old chef from New Orleans, LA; Josephine Tutman, a 24-year-old unemployed nurse from Santa Cruz, CA; Vanessa Grimaldi, a 29-year-old special education teacher from Montreal, Quebec, Canada; Alexis Waters, a 23-year-old aspiring dolphin trainer from Secaucus, NJ; Corinne and finally Taylor.

Kristina Schulman, a 24-year-old dental hygienist from Lexington, KY; Danielle Lombard, a 27-year-old small business owner from Los Angeles, CA; and Raven Gates, a 25-year-old fashion boutique owner from Hoxie, AR, has already received roses from Nick during the week of dates.

"I'm impressed by Corinne's level of manipulation," Taylor said.

The girls soon learned they'd be traveling to New Orleans for a whole new set of dates. Jaimi was going to be in her element, so she thought maybe that would serve as an advantage for her. The week was going to include a one-on-one date, a group date and a two-on-one date.

When Chris Harrison dropped the first Date Card off, Rachel discovered she'd be accompanying Nick on the only solo date of the week. She was very nervous because it had been a long time since she was excited about dating someone.

For their date, Rachel and Nick walked through a market and shopped, kissed and laughed. Rachel had been on his mind from the very beginning because they just clicked and he found things easy with her. Nick admitted to the cameras he had the most "explosive chemistry" with Rachel of all the women because she's confident sexy and smart -- she has it all.

The couple joined a parade of singers and dancers in the street, and Rachel was impressed by the Bachelor's "swag." Meanwhile, Jasmine at the hotel said it was very apparent Nick had a strong connection with Rachel, and she was a little jealous about it.

Back on the one-on-one date, Rachel revealed it had been a year-and-a-half since she was last on a date with a man she was actually excited about. After checking out a collection of Mardi Gras floats, the couple enjoyed dinner and opened up to one another.

Rachel couldn't deny the chemistry she felt with Nick. He confessed to the bachelorette that she had surpassed all of his expectations, and Rachel revealed the last time she visited New Orleans was for a funeral, which was a time in her life when she became determined to live life to the fullest. So this date was very significant for her.

Rachel told Nick that her father is an intimidating federal judge in Dallas, and then Nick confessed it really bothers him that he already asked two fathers for permission to propose marriage to their daughters. (Former The Bachelorette stars Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe's dads). Rachel had tears in her eyes because Nick was being so vulnerable.

"I might be breaking the rules here, but I'm super into you," Nick told her. "I'm putting effort into the relationship because it means a lot to me."

Nick then gave Rachel a rose and said there's so much he finds sexy and beautiful about her. He wanted her to feel confident because she's the type of woman he wanted for the rest of his life.

"I could see myself falling in love. I don't believe in fairy tales, but I believe in today, and today was a fairy tale," Rachel told the cameras.

The next day, Nick embarked on a group date with Josephine, Kristina, Alexis, Raven, Jaimi, Vanessa, Danielle M., Whitney, Jasmine and Danielle L -- leaving Corinne and Taylor on the two-on-one date. Taylor hoped Corinne felt threatened because she was confident she was going to stay.

"I think they would both fight to the death," Raven said in a confessional.

For the group date, Nick brought the girls to one of the most haunted houses in Louisiana built in 1828, and they learned a story about a girl named May who died at eight-years-old and haunted the place because she's forever looking for her lost doll.

"I did not sign up to be a part of the Ghostbusters," Raven insisted.

Many of the girls were freaked out, as the date was all about exploring the mansion and playing the Ouija board. Jaimi even felt uncomfortable, because on the off-chance ghosts are real, she felt the group was being disrespectful to the spirits.

When Danielle L. got some alone time with Nick that night, she revealed, "I could see myself falling in love with you."

Meanwhile, Corinne and Taylor received their Date Card in the hotel.

"She thinks she's the queen of the house. Chill the f-ck out; you're not," Corinne vented to the cameras.

Back on the group date, Nick admitted his relationship with Danielle M. was a slow burn, so he was hoping to rekindle the magic they shared on their first one-on-one date together earlier in the season. After a passionate kiss, it was clear the couple deepened their bond.

Raven then sat down with Nick and accidentally revealed she had already fallen in love with him.

"The moment I fell in love with you is when you sang The Little Mermaid," Raven gushed, as Nick had a surprised look on his face.

Raven didn't mean to say, "I love you," but it just spilled out, and she was okay with that because it's how she really felt -- even though it was a little too soon to say such things.

The date concluded with Danielle M. earning the rose from Nick. She felt validated, which was something Raven needed at this point in the journey.

The following day, Corinne expressed how Nick was going to have to choose between a girl like Taylor -- who is supposedly calculative and analytical -- and someone like herself, who is more bubbly and colorful.

For their two-on-one date, the trio went on an airboat ride and looked at gators in the swamp. Taylor bragged to the cameras about having a Master's Degree and working as a successful mental health counselor. She thought she had a higher level of "emotional intelligence" than Corinne, whom she called a "manipulative bitch."

When the trio walked through the jungle, they learned about voodoo dolls and had tarot-card readings. Taylor said Nick needed to learn the truth about Corinne and how she's lacking everything he needs in a future partner.

"She's just a big, mean swamp monster," Corinne noted. "I don't do well with bullies. Bullies never get a happy ending."

Corinne felt obligated to tell Nick that Taylor emotionally attacked her and called her stupid, so just when Taylor determined she wanted to take the high road and not engage someone "toxic" and "immature" like Corinne, the blonde beauty was spilling her guts to Nick about the situation.

Afterward, Nick expressed to Taylor how Corinne had accused her of being a bully, calling her stupid and diminishing her self worth. Taylor denied such claims and simply explained that Nick needed a confident, self aware and mature woman. She hated the idea Nick might potentially build a relationship based on "whipped cream and lies."

Meanwhile, Corinne asked a woman in the jungle to make her a voodoo doll of Taylor.

When the girls had a brief moment alone, Taylor confronted Corinne, saying she never name-called and the Miami native was twisting her words. Corinne argued that she told Nick exactly how things went down. Taylor hoped Nick was smart and observant enough to see through Corinne's lies.

Nick then joined both bachelorettes and explained to the girls it's important to have an emotional connection with someone he's going to spend a life with. He then decided to give the two-on-one date's rose to Corinne. Nick confessed to Taylor it was the most difficult decision he's had to make thus far.

Taylor sat at the table in complete silence, shock and apparent frustration. Nick hugged her goodbye and took off in the airboat with Corinne, leaving the scorned bachelorette behind.

Taylor was determined to speak with Nick again, as she didn't want to go down without a fight. That night, Corinne and Nick talked over dinner, and Corinne bragged that she's a nice person until someone crosses her.

"Nick made a mistake today," Taylor told the cameras. "Nick was manipulated and lied to, and I was sent home because of it. That's very egocentric and toddler like. It's ridiculous."

The episode ended on a cliffhanger, with Taylor approaching Nick during his dinner date with Corinne.

"I need to talk to you," Taylor insisted.
