The Bachelor's self-proclaimed master spoiler was apparently wrong again.

(SPOILER ALERT: Please stop reading this article immediately if you don't want to know any information about the ending of The Bachelor's fifteenth season.)
Steve Carbone -- The Bachelor blogger who bills himself "Reality Steve" and previously successfully spoiled the ending to the show's Jason Mesnick and Jake Pavelka editions -- has announced Brad Womack did not propose to Chantal O'Brien at the conclusion of The Bachelor's fifteenth season as he had previously claimed.
Instead, Womack rejected O'Brien and got engaged to Emily Maynard when The Bachelor's fifteenth-season final Rose Ceremony was filmed in South Africa last fall, according to Carbone.
"My sources have been wrong about the ending of the show," Carbone wrote on his blog on Monday. "Brad is engaged to Emily... and he has been since South Africa."

Prior to Monday, Carbone had spent the last three months claiming Womack had selected O'Brien as his final bachelorette.
"Brad chose Chantal O'Brien. Yes, the girl who slapped him," Carbone wrote in a December 8 blog posting in which he had also correctly spoiled the details of the rest of The Bachelor's fifteenth season -- including what dates were featured on each episode, which bachelorettes accompanied Womack on each date, and which women were eliminated at each of the season's Rose Ceremonies.
Carbone included an apology in his new posting in which he announced Womack had actually picked Maynard instead of O'Brien.
"I apologize," he wrote. "Trust me, for the guy that has sat here for the last three months pounding on his chest and screaming from the top of the Empire State Building like King Kong that 'Brad is engaged to Chantal,' the last thing I wanna do is tell you I was wrong the whole time. Well, I was."
Assuming his new information is correct, this marks the second-straight edition of the reality dating franchise in which Carbone has correctly spoiled the details of a season's dates and eliminations but gotten the ending wrong.

Last summer, he had incorrectly claimed sixth-season The Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky had rejected both of her final two suitors -- who he previously revealed to be Roberto Martinez and Chris Lambton -- at her final Rose Ceremony.
While Carbone later learned that Fedotowsky had actually selected Martinez, he only discovered the information hours before ABC's August broadcast of The Bachelorette's sixth-season finale -- a fact he had admitted was likely to make readers skeptical of his information about Womack's The Bachelor edition.
"Of course, I expect plenty of you to doubt this because I was wrong on the Roberto/Ali ending last season, and that's fine," Carbone had boasted in his December posting. "You may doubt all you want, and technically I won't be vindicated until March 14th when it airs, but I'm not the least bit worried."
However, after allegedly fumbling the conclusion to a second season, Carbone now admits readers are likely to be even more skeptical of his future claims.
"This is a 'what-have-you-done-for-me-lately' business. I'm only as good as my last spoiler, and right now, I'm sitting on back-to-back endings being wrong. Tough pill to swallow. But I can handle it," he wrote in his Monday posting.

"Yeah, 2-for-4 is decent, but I'm 0 for my last 2. In fact, it's becoming downright comical now that I can have everything else right on back to back seasons, yet can't nail the ending."
