The Bachelor star Ben Higgins has finally given a little insight into how this journey ends for him.

Higgins stopped by Good Morning America on Monday to promote The Bachelor's Season 20 premiere at 8PM ET/PT on ABC, and during his interview, the 26-year-old software accounts manager hinted he might have gotten engaged or certainly -- at the very least -- found love.

Higgins said becoming the lead after his experience on Kaitlyn Bristowe's season of The Bachelorette was "a lot to consider."

"When they asked initially, I think I just wanted to process everything, make sure it was the right decision for me," Higgins explained, "and ultimately it was... It definitely was."

If starring on The Bachelor was "definitely" the right choice, that hopefully means the process was successful for Higgins and one lucky bachelorette.

"You know, the last year has been a little crazy," Higgins quickly continued on GMA, without actually confirming whether he's engaged. "It's definitely changed life a lot, but I would never take it back."

And although he's only 26, Higgins insisted he's "definitely" ready to get engaged.

"Oh yeah!... There wasn't a question in my mind," he noted.

But with love often comes drama. Higgins admitted there will be many twists and turns to come this season.

"I think any time you get a group of people in a house together dating one person, I think things will happen, and it's life. How people interact with each other, every season is going [to play out] differently, so this season I think is definitely different than ones in previous," he explained.

"I think being the lead is definitely different from being a cast member because you know you're not going home, you know you're going to be around. And also, I think I just wanted to make sure that all of these women felt appreciative in being there, because I did. And that was sort of my responsibility."

While Higgins focused on "what could be the end result" during filming, he neglected to realize there was going to be "a lot of heartbreak, a lot of pain and a lot of emotion that gets expressed."

Therefore, the Indiana native confessed The Bachelor was "a lot harder than I expected."

"When I signed up for this, I knew my life was going to be on display, and I think the women that came on knew that their lives were going to be on display. So, you just kind of roll with it! People are going to laugh and maybe cry with me, and I'll be embarrassed at times," Higgins said, before shyly pointing out, "and you'll probably see me kissing sometimes."

One piece of advice Higgins lived by throughout the season was to be true to himself. He also said it was important for the women to do the same "in order for [the show] to work."
