The Bachelor star Ben Higgins admits he's going to keep conversations about sex with his bachelorettes private, especially since Kaitlyn Bristowe exposed his virginity status on national TV and it embarrassed him a little bit.

"Thanks Kaitlyn! It's not something you expect to be brought up. I don't think it was something my grandma or my mom didn't expect or were shocked by, but it was weird!" Higgins told People with a laugh.
"I have to thank Kaitlyn for taking the opportunity to ask me that on national television. So now my grandma knows for certain!"
However, the 26-year-old software accounts manager is definitely not against open communication when it comes to intimacy.
"I don't think many topics should be taboo, especially sex," Higgins admitted. "Those conversations should exist in a relationship, especially when it comes to your expectations, limits and boundaries."
While he intends to talk about the physical aspect of a relationship with women he cares about, he's not interested in doing so on-camera.
"I want to make sure I keep those communications between us," Higgins told the magazine. "There are some conversations that only need to happen between the two people involved in a relationship!"
The Bachelor's twentieth season premieres January 4 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
