The Bachelor star Ben Higgins is "very single," according to pal Ashley Iaconetti, and she believes he needs a very specific type of woman.

"I think Ben needs a girl that's, like, low maintenance -- a natural, church-going, humble girl who's, like, looking to go with him when he does his mission trips. And somebody who's a very good conversationalist, for sure," Ashley, 29, told ET.
Ashley has gotten to know Ben very well over the past couple of months because the pair co-host their Almost Famous podcast together.
"He's very single," Ashley added of Ben, who announced his split from Lauren in May following a year-long engagement. "He's mostly home and hanging out with his guy friends."
Ashley -- who competed for Chris Soules on Season 19 of The Bachelor and has also appeared on multiple seasons of Bachelor in Paradise -- also insisted that Ben needs a "sweet" girl who "gets along with everybody" really well.
"He needs the ultimate girl," Ashley added.
Ben and Lauren, 25, got engaged on The Bachelor's 20th season during the show's March 2016 finale. Six months later, the pair decided to star on their own spinoff on Freeform, Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?, which premiered in October of last year and documented their life together in Denver, CO.
The couple's relationship seemed to fall apart from that point on, and Ashley has given her two cents on why she thinks Ben and Lauren's romance crumbled.
"It was probably, like, the youth [that caused their breakup]," Ashley explained. "And they just needed to live separate lives for a little bit longer before committing, like, really taking marriage seriously."
According to recent reports, Lauren is currently dating her longtime friend Devin Antin. The duo were reportedly buddy-buddy before Lauren left Los Angeles to film The Bachelor when she fell in love with Ben.
"They've been dating for a while now," a source told Us Weekly last week of Lauren and Devin, adding that the former flight attendant has already met her new beau's family. "She was at a Golden State game with his sisters."
Lauren talked to Us in June about looking for love again and noted how she didn't want to force anything when it comes to dating a new guy.

"If something happens, great. If not, then that is how it's supposed to be," Lauren said at the time. "I'm just trying to focus on myself... If something comes from that, great. I'll be so happy. [But] even if something does come, I really want to take things slow. Because obviously on The Bachelor, things don't move slow."
