The Bachelor star Clayton Echard has revealed how there will be a "definitive" ending of Season 26 when fans tune in to the show's After the Final Rose special.

"Next Tuesday, after it all [airs], yes, people are going to have an answer [as to how my journey ends]," Clayton said during a Thursday appearance on the "Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe" podcast.
"At the end of next Tuesday, there will be a definitive answer."

While many previews of Clayton's final days as the Bachelor have aired, none of them show Clayton picking out an engagement ring or standing at the Final Rose Ceremony.

And according to Clayton, what's going to unfold on the rest of his season will be a shock to viewers and show-spoiling accounts.
"Nobody has the slightest clue of what's going to happen," Clayton teased to the Season 11 The Bachelorette star.
"Again, I'm online a lot and I'll just say that I haven't even seen one person get it right. So that's I guess the way I'll tease it."
Clayton continued, "Everyone's making these judgments, and no one is even close to correctly pinning what happened. So I think I would just tell people to reserve judgment until they see the full story and then I think people will understand why I've done everything that I've done."
As fans saw on Tuesday night's The Bachelor episode, Clayton had sex and confessed he was in love with both Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia during their overnight Fantasy Suite dates in Iceland, but then he told Susie Evans on his third date of the week that he was "the most in love" with her.

Susie, wanting to be Clayton's one and only in order to feel good about possibly accepting a marriage proposal in one week, expressed how she couldn't see herself moving forward in the process due to Clayton's apparent willingness to jeopardize their strong relationship.

But just as it appeared Susie was going to quit the show, Clayton essentially beat her to the punch and determined he was "done" with her because he didn't think she viewed their relationship as something worth fighting for and saving.
Clayton was angry at the bachelorette for not explaining her dealbreaker or giving him an ultimatum prior to Fantasy Suites, and he told Susie at one point, "I don't even know who I'm looking at anymore... You just dropped a bombshell on me... I think it's B-S... Anything you say to me from this point doesn't matter anymore."
A preview for next week's two-night finale event of The Bachelor on Monday, March 14 and Tuesday, March 15 hints a woman may return and stir things up, and many fans have been speculating maybe Susie comes back.

When Us Weekly asked Clayton earlier this month if he's still in love, he replied, "I felt a lot of love through the entire journey. It's hard to answer. It's been alluded to that things are ongoing and I don't really, I don't know how things are going to end."
The Bachelor host Jesse Palmer also recently told the magazine that he "thought" he knew how the show was going to end once filming wrapped in Iceland but now "we really don't know what's about to happen."
"We've gone a lot of places figuratively that I don't think the show's ever been in 20 years. Clayton's sort of on a very, very unique path... Coming up on After the Final Rose on a two-night live event, I seriously don't know what is going to happen," Jesse revealed.
"We're literally walking into that sort of blind, and the producers are too, and we're just gonna see what happens. I'm excited. I'm also a little bit nervous because I just don't know where it's going to go."

It's unclear whether Clayton is single, dating or engaged right now, and he told Glamour that he wishes "it could have went any other direction" than the direction it did, according to Us.
"I don't think anyone expected it to end the way that it did, including myself, nor did I want it to be that way," he admitted earlier this month. "There was a lot of things that I just never would've thought would've happened the way they did. So everyone will be kind of surprised."
Previously-eliminated Season 26 The Bachelor bachelorette Teddi Wright told Clayton while filming The Women Tell All special that she hopes he's "okay" after the chaotic ending to his season.
"I'm in a unique situation where I do know some things of how this all will play out," Teddi explained to Us about her comment.
"I hope that he's doing good. I think, like, we can see from the promos that a lot goes on and he continues to do some things wrong. I'm happy that it's all going play out soon and everyone will kind of know, and, like, he'll be able to have the conversations he needs at After the Final Rose."
Clayton also admitted at The Women Tell All special how he's "somewhat petrified at how all the things went down" at the end of his season and the idea of watching it back on TV.
"I went in there hoping that I could make it as seamless as possible. And I think, honestly, it was the closest thing to a trainwreck," Clayton shared with Us at the time.
Back in February, ABC executive Robert Mills tweeted, "Sometimes the trailer is wilder than the show. Not in this case however."
And around that same time, The Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss tweeted that the show "ain't over" yet and so the finale details cannot be spoiled.
Jesse has teased Clayton's The Bachelor finale as the "most dramatic" one ever, and previews have shown that Gabby and Rachel will be devastated at the next Rose Ceremony upon hearing that Clayton was in love with and had slept with them both.
