The Bachelor star Juan Pablo Galavis is standing by all his actions and words this season although his behavior has resulted in many disappointed and frustrated bachelorettes.

After being able to watch the season back and listen to the complaints of his bachelorettes regarding his alleged rude or disingenuous actions, Juan Pablo told host Chris Harrison during Monday night's The Bachelor: The Women Tell All special he wouldn't have changed a single thing.
"No, no... I have no regrets," Juan Pablo said when he was in the hotseat.
"At the end of the day, you have to be very realistic, mature and very honest in the situation. I've been honest since Day 1 to all of you [girls] and sometimes that happens to seem a little rude, and yeah, sometimes it happens to be that way. But at the same time, I'd rather not be appreciated for being honest than being appreciated for not being honest."
He continued, "I don't know if [it's] offensive, but it's going to hurt. It's going to hurt when you're honest with somebody. It's definitely going to hurt."

Some of the women this season confronted The Bachelor star about their issues with him.
Lauren Solomon said while he preached honesty, she wished Juan Pablo had been straight forward about his apparent lack of interest in her rather than telling herself and Renee Oteri he just didn't want to kiss a lot of women one night as to not upset his four-year-old daughter Camila. Lauren came to that conclusion because Juan Pablo kissed Clare Crawley immediately after he made that statement.
"I'm not going to let my daughter watch the show. One of my thoughts was, 'Maybe friends from school or parents will tell her.' So I didn't come to the show or accept to be the Bachelor to kiss 27 women," Juan Pablo explained. "I came here to get to know you... I'm here to see how I feel, and if I feel it's the right time, I will kiss her. And I did it with Renee [too]."
Juan Pablo had told Renee he didn't want to kiss her for awhile out of respect for her son Ben. However, Cassandra Ferguson was also a mother of a young son and the Bachelor wanted to kiss her all the time.
By treating the two single moms -- whom Juan Pablo dubbed his "special ones" -- differently, Cassandra said, "He was either disrespecting Renee or he was disrespecting me."

"It's hard to say that he was being honest because I feel like he was sexually attracted to Cassandra and that's that. Say, like, I feel like kissing Cassandra in this moment and tell Renee that I'm respecting you because you have a child, that's not honest. It doesn't make sense. You use the honesty [line]... But that is not being honest," Kelly Travis explained.
In response, Juan Pablo argued, "Renee has an eight-year-old son. Nobody watched, unfortunately, the part when she told me about her breaking up with her old boyfriend and Ben being crushed by that breakup. So when I heard that, I was like, 'Okay, it's not only my daughter [involved]... Renee and Cassandra were taking time from their sons to get to know me.' So when I heard Renee's story about Ben being very sad and disappointed, I was like, 'You know what? I got to take my time.'"
"Honestly, if you were caring about Ben's feelings, then you wouldn't have done the hometown and met Ben just to send Renee home," Cassandra argued.
"Why not?" Juan Pablo asked in confusion.
"I feel like if you're going to do a hometown, you should take that seriously and you should know if Renee is for you. And I feel like before hometown, you would've been able to tell that," Cassandra explained.

"I introduce my daughter to [whoever] as a friend on the first date," Juan Pablo said.
Despite Juan Pablo's claims, Kelly still felt Juan Pablo used Camila as an excuse instead of just telling certain bachelorettes, "The chemistry is not there."
"He didn't say Camila whenever he was in the ocean [with Clare]," Kelly snapped.
"Take responsibility for that!" Kat Hurd noted of Juan Pablo's choice.
One of the big issues this season was Juan Pablo's decision to take Clare to his private suite's hottub in Vietnam during a group date and then take a late-night ocean swim with her. Many viewers believed the couple had sex based upon the regret and guilt the Bachelor had expressed shortly after the incident.

"The [hottub] was more disrespectful," Kelly and Kat said simultaneously, comparing the hottub to the ocean.
"I think he had a case of buyer's remorse," Sharleen Joynt suggested. "I just think that he didn't man up the way he should have in that situation. He's just as to blame as she is. Honestly, I think more."
The bachelorettes also apparently struggled with whether Juan Pablo was genuinely looking for a wife via the show, whether he was truly ready to commit to one woman and cared about them.
"He was always like, 'Well what do you want to know about me?' And never really asked me anything about me either... I felt like he wasn't genuine... It was really hard to relate to him. I just feel like he was checked out," said Lauren.
"When you date someone, you connect with someone and you know about their past, their childhood, what kind of pizza they like, and what their favorite color is. I don't think he was asking those types of questions," Cassandra explained.
"All he talks about is being fair and then he goes around and changes every rule that he makes," Kat said.
Juan Pablo insisted he was absolutely on The Bachelor for the right reasons.
"I wouldn't waste my time spending a couple months trying to figure out if I have a good time or not," Juan Pablo said, arguing he was looking for a wife. "At the end of the day, I took this very seriously and it is what it is."
Sharleen Joynt defended Juan Pablo, saying he did ask questions and seemed curious and interested in her life and background. Sharleen thought he was looking for something serious although everyone else clearly felt otherwise.
"I felt like a lot of our conversations were surface level," Danielle Ronco noted. "The conversation never expanded."
Based upon the bachelorettes' unhappiness with Juan Pablo, he may not get what he wants at the end of the experience.

"I believe that I could have some friends here... After the Final Rose, we'll just be regular people and friends," Juan Pablo said.
