The Bachelor star Juan Pablo Galavis says he doesn't regret kissing Sharleen Joynt in front of all the other girls because his bachelorettes all knew what they were getting themselves when they signed up to participate in the ABC reality dating show.

"It happens every season. So, I don't even worry about it. It's tough. You get caught up in the moment, and at this point they feel rejected if it doesn't go they want it to. But in the middle of a soccer field, are you kidding me? I was like, 'I have to do this.' Obviously some girls are going to see, but they know what they're getting into. It's all part of it," Galavis told TV Guide in an interview. 

The Bachelor star said the same thing goes with all the emotions the women are beginning to experience, especially jealousy. Clare Crawley, for example, had the first one-on-one date of the season with Galavis and began feeling like she was fading into the background.

"I'm very clear with all of them. They know what they're getting into. It's something I can't control. I try to be as fair as possible and get to know them as much as I can, but in this situation, there is going to be hurt. Clare had the lucky first one-on-one date, and she now has to wait," he explained.

Galavis' one-on-one dates apparently continue to impress the former pro soccer player and single dad. Cassandra Ferguson, another single parent, tugged at his heart strings when sharing pictures of her young son Trey during their alone time together.

Because they have something very important in common, Galavis suggested it doesn't make him more drawn to Ferguson but rather "more protective."

"[She] and [Renee Oteri] are my special ones; they're the ones I look at differently than anyone else because they're moms. So, I try to protect them a little bit more and make sure the decisions I make are the right ones as quick as possible because I know they're away from their sons," he said.

As for Chelsie Webster, she proved to Galavis she's a lot of fun and can go with the flow. He also admitted he wouldn't have been bummed if she chose not to bungee jump off the bridge with him.

"Not at all. It's something you can't control and when it's something scary, you have to respect that. I would've given her a rose anyway," Galavis told TV Guide.

"But that trust made me more comfortable with her. It was a great date... I was terrified, but I wasn't going to show Chelsie I was terrified because that would've been terrible. The first time I looked down I said, 'Oh my gosh, this looks horrendous.' The third time I said, 'OK I have to do this, I have to jump.'"

Galavis wrote in his People blog he actually almost "sh-t his pants" when he first saw the drop.

He additionally wrote in his blog the reason why he sent Lucy Aragon home during Monday night's Rose Ceremony.

"Seeing everyone in their pajamas was great. Some of them didn't care that I was at the house, and Renee showed once again what an amazing woman she is by helping me cook and helping the girls clean up everything," Galavis began.

"Lucy, on the other hand, came down with a T-shirt and underwear, and she stayed that way for all of breakfast. That's when I realized that she wasn't good for me and my daughter."
