The Bachelor star Matt James has a lot of Dancing with the Stars supporters already, but it appears girlfriend Rachael Kirkconnell is his biggest fan.

Matt, who starred on The Bachelor's 25th season and gave his final rose to Rachael, is currently competing on Dancing with the Stars' milestone 30th edition, which just premiered Monday night on ABC.

"I mean, first of all, she was the only person who seemed to like my beard, so, you know, that's love right there," Matt said, referencing how he recently shaved his long beard.
"And she was stoked about this opportunity for me," he added.
Matt is paired with Lindsay Arnold for the new Dancing with the Stars season, and Rachael was shown clapping and cheering for her boyfriend in the audience after Matt took the stage with his pro partner for the first time.
But Lindsay apparently isn't the only person teaching Matt some moves to use in the ballroom.
Not only did former The Bachelorette star Hannah Brown -- who won Dancing with the Stars' 28th season with pro Alan Bersten -- meet up with Matt and teach him to twirl in the streets, but Matt also revealed Rachael's sister is helping him out.
"[Rachael]'s sister is an incredible dancer, so we've all been consulting about how I can improve my steps," Matt shared, adding that Rachael also steps in for rehearsals when Lindsay, a new mom, isn't available.
Matt said of Rachael, 24, "When I come back from practice, she's been, you know, my dance partner outside of Dancing with the Stars."
"I come back and try to apply the same lessons that I learned during my rehearsals, and she's whipping me into shape," he gushed.

The first Black The Bachelor star ever therefore predicted Dancing with the Stars will "be a lot of fun" this season.
Before Matt made his Dancing with the Stars debut on Monday night, Rachael took to Instagram to brag about her man and begin campaigning for viewer votes.
"My man is officially trading in his skateboards sneaks for some dancing shoes!" Rachael captioned photos of the couple.
"Reminding you guys that @dancingabc is on TONIGHT (8 pm EST)! can't wait for you guys to see how hard this guy has been working and what they've come up with, you won't want to miss it... I promise he's come a long way."
Rachael concluded her post with a winking face and wrote, "love you the most @mattjames919, already so so proud of you."
Matt and Lindsay finished in a four-way tie for ninth place on the Dancing with the Stars leaderboard on Monday night after receiving 24 points from judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough.
Matt and Lindsay Arnold performed a cha cha routine.
Len said he would've liked to see more hip action from Matt but his future on the show will probably be "rosy."

Matt's The Bachelor season wrapped in March. After a short breakup in February over Rachael's racism controversy, she and Matt got back together in early April and have seemingly been inseparable ever since.
