The Bachelor star Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan are raising eyebrows and sparking dating rumors given they just reunited in Kelley's hometown of Chicago.

Photos of Peter and Kelley goofing around in Chicago surfaced online on Wednesday, and in one photo, Peter was flirtatiously carrying Kelley over his shoulder, Us Weekly reported.

"They seemed to just be hanging out on the Riverwalk," a source told Us, noting however, that Peter and Kelley didn't have any public displays of affection.

"They both appeared to be in a good mood and Peter was even seen dancing a little bit."

Kelley and Peter were apparently joined by Season 15 The Bachelorette alum Dustin Kendrick, who is also from Chicago and competed against Peter for Hannah Brown's heart in 2019.

"The three of them sat on one of the ledges away from people," the source told Us. "No one walked up to them and they kept a distance from other people as well."

When exactly Peter traveled to Chicago remains uncertain, however Illinois issued a "stay-at-home" order for the entire state last weekend due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Prior to hanging with Kelley, Peter had said he was quarantining himself in his parents' home in California -- which has also been under a "stay-at-home" order since last Friday -- during the ongoing pandemic.

Peter and Kelley have therefore become targets of backlash for getting together and putting themselves and others at risk of coronavirus.

Peter's Season 24 bachelorette Mykenna Dorn, for example, reportedly commented on an Instagram post about Peter and Kelley's hangout session on Wednesday, "Guess they didn't get the quarantine memo."

Peter and Kelley met when they randomly stumbled across each other in a Malibu hotel last year. Because they both felt an immediate connection, Kelley decided to compete for his heart on The Bachelor's 24th season, which began filming in September 2019 and aired its finale in March 2020 on ABC.

Peter eliminated Kelley before hometown dates because he wasn't sure she was falling in love with him or taking the process very seriously, but Kelley accused Peter of not being mature enough for a real commitment and going after girls that are too young for him.

As the season aired, rumors swirled that Kelley and Peter were secretly dating, but she later put that speculation to rest and confirmed that was not the case.

However, Kelley was invited to The Bachelor's live finale taping on March 10, which got people talking. In addition, Kelley revealed she had won over Peter's mother Barbara Weber, who disapproved of her son's final pick, Madison Prewett.

"[Barb] waved to me in the stands [at the finale] and then she tried to pull me down and she asked one of the producers, 'Hey! Can you go get her? I want to meet her!'" Kelley told Us at the time.

"So one of the producers came and grabbed me and she just started hugging me profusely... She was like, 'You were my favorite since Day 1! I love you! You're beautiful!'"

Kelley, however, watched an indecisive Peter break off an engagement to Hannah Ann Sluss and then reconcile with his supposed true love, Madison, whom he officially split from on March 12, just two short days after the finale aired.

Hannah Ann also accused Peter of not being over his The Bachelorette ex Hannah Brown.

"To be honest, I think that Peter needs to figure out his own stuff," Kelley told the magazine earlier this month.

"I met Peter outside of the show and he was so sweet, he was amazing, and I think that the show may have gotten to him a little bit. Right now, I think it's time for him to just reflect on himself and figure out... what he wants [and who] Peter Weber really is... Right now he should just focus on himself and do his own thing."

For as long as Kelley remains single, she'll apparently be a hot commodity in Bachelor Nation.

Not only did The Bachelorette alum Mike Johnson hint that he's interested in Kelley, but she was also previously linked to The Bachelor's Season 21 star Nick Viall.

Kelley and Nick posted a photo with each other from a party Chris Harrison hosted in Los Angeles earlier this month on Instagram and Chris commented on the picture that the pair looked "so cozy" together at the event.

Nick, however, subsequently insisted there's nothing going on between them and he was well aware posting the photo would cause a stir.
