The Bachelorette viewers apparently missed out on a dramatic moment in last week's episode when producers had made the decision to conclude the episode prematurely to address the memory of deceased bachelor Eric Hill.

During last week's broadcast, Eric and The Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman got into an argument that resulted in Eric's departure from the show. Because the moment marked the last time viewers will see Eric this season, host Chris Harrison and Andi sat down to discuss the suitor's life and the impact he had on the cast.

In order to air the interview, producers edited out the traditional Rose Ceremony in addition to a scene that took place after Andi said a dramatic goodbye to Eric. Standing at the bar alone, Andi was extremely upset. Bachelor Nick Viall then took it upon himself to comfort her as the rest of her concerned suitors were sitting nearby.

"Everyone's upset -- most importantly, because they see Andi upset -- and I thought, 'If anyone has the opportunity to try to make her feel better, it might be me. I don't know that; I just thought, 'Maybe,'" Nick said in a confessional.

Nick then sought Andi out and asked her to "let it all out."

"I definitely have a lot of flaws, like if you want to say I'm bitchy at times or I have a bad sense of humor at times, that's fine," Andi told Nick. "But, to me, I don't know. I don't even want to talk about it that much. It's just like, that was a battle that I had to fight."

Once Nick returned to the group with Andi at his side, Josh Murray spoke up and said all the guys wanted to speak to Andi and console her.

"Seeing Nick coming back with Andi is tough because I definitely wanted to be that guy that was able to spend some time consoling her in a difficult moment. So, yeah, it's definitely tough," Chris Soules told the cameras.

Andi then apologized to all of her bachelors for breaking down, and she assured them she wasn't in a funk and still felt like the process was working for her. Chris Harrison then escorted Andi out of the room so she could prepare for the night's Rose Ceremony.

"I didn't get one-on-one time with her," Cody Sattler said, expressing frustration about Nick's alone time with the show's star.

"It was disappointing for the rest of us," Tasos Hernandez noted.

"I'm going to seize my opportunities to comfort her like we would all want to," Nick explained.

"That's f-cking bullsh-t, not going to lie," Josh blurted out. "I would've loved to go get her up there and talk to her and bring her down here. That would've been nice, because I feel like all of us feel the same way."

"You understand that we all genuinely had that desire to go console her?" Tasos asked Nick.

"Do you think that would've made a difference?!" Nick fired back.

"Of course it would make a difference. Every minute makes a difference, dude," Andrew Poole argued. "To think that you just have the upper hand..."

"Who said I have the upper hand?!" Nick questioned. "I didn't say that."

As Andrew tried to explain himself further, Nick barked, "Is he not f-cking listening!? F-cking pay attention."

"Really?!" Andrew said with a sarcastic laugh. "Okay."

"Why are you looking at me?" Nick asked Tasos.

"Because you're slightly arrogant right now and I don't really like that," Tasos replied.

"I'm sorry you feel that way, but it's how I feel," Nick said.

Andrew and Tasos then elaborated on their emotions in separate confessionals.

"I guess what bothered me the most about the whole thing was that he sort of claimed that he was the one who was deserving of that moment with her, and that came through very clear," Andrew explained.

"Like, it's disappointing because it really just sort of validates the fact that he's going into this whole thing with a big head, and we're all kind of hoping that the guy has more depth to him."

"Nick is being deceitful," Tasos said. "He knows what he's doing is not right and he's justifying it by being selfish -- plain and simple."

The Rose Ceremony later concluded with Tasos' elimination.
