The Bachelorette alum Becca Kufrin has revealed that her fiance Thomas Jacobs still plans to propose marriage to her, even though she had been the one to pop the question last month.

"He's talked about still wanting to propose to me, as well. I'm like, 'How spoiled are we that we're the only couple that is able to get away with two engagements?'"

The Season 14 The Bachelorette star, who met Thomas on last summer's edition of Bachelor in Paradise, continued, "So he has something planned. I have no idea when or where, so I'm just kinda hanging tight," she continued. "But yeah, we're just enjoying the moment."
When looking back on her own romantic picnic proposal to Thomas, Becca gushed about how special it was.
"Everyone has seen me get engaged on television before," Becca said, referring to her broken engagements to Season 22 The Bachelor star Arie Luyendyk Jr. and then her The Bachelorette 14 winner Garrett Yrigoyen.
"But this time, it was so different and so unique and special to both Thomas and I that I'm just so excited to do life with him. We've been engaged for almost a month now, and this week marks our one-year anniversary of when we went on our first date and met. And so it's just been fun... feeling all the love and support."
Becca said she has known Thomas is The One for her "for a while" now.
"We've talked about getting engaged. Obviously he thought it would be more traditional in the sense of he'd be getting down on one knee, but it was probably in April [I decided to pop the question]," Becca shared.
Becca praised Thomas for having been "so incredible" and "so supportive" while she toured earlier this year for Bachelor Live On Stage. She was apparently blown away by his ability to take care of her and their dogs back at home in San Diego, CA.
"I saw him step up in a way I've never seen anyone do before," Becca gushed.
"He really made the entire tour experience that much better, and so halfway through, I was homesick and I was missing him. And I thought, 'I want to spend the rest of my life with him, so why should I wait?'"

Becca added, "I really wanted it to be special for him and I want [our dynamic] to be 50/50. I wanted to let him know that if he's all in, I'm all in too -- so why not make this big, grand gesture for my partner?"

Becca therefore determined the following in April: "I was like, 'F it! I'm going to be the one to get down on one knee!' So after the planning process, I finally did it in the middle of May."
Becca confirmed Thomas had "zero" idea about her marriage proposal, which Thomas dubbed "the ultimate UNO reverse card" and "power move" when announcing the exciting news on social media in late May.
Thomas previously noted how he's well aware of the fact Becca wants an elongated cushion-cut diamond ring this time around, and he said during an April episode of the "Click Bait with Bachelor Nation" podcast that he could see himself proposing by the end of 2022.
Thomas also suggested at the time he may have already purchased a ring for Becca.
Thomas teased, "Am I aware if I have one in a safety lockbox in my bedroom? I don't know, time will tell. We'll have to find that one out later on this year."
He also confirmed of the pending marriage proposal, "I don't have a full plan yet, but I know it's going to be small and intimate. There will be a camera. I'll have a photographer, but the last thing that I want for Becca is to have another grand spectacle."

"He's the first guy that I'm, like, 'I actually want to spend my entire life with you. I want to start planning the wedding and I want to do all of the things,' whereas in the past, 'I'm like, 'Well, I don't know if it's necessarily for me, but we'll see,'" Becca told Us Weekly on its "Here for the Right Reasons" podcast.
Becca may have gone about her third engagement differently, certainly in an untraditional manner, but she told People that it "feels right" with Thomas this time.
"It feels like we can live in it and actually celebrate it," Becca explained. "Before, there was so much publicity and attention that it just felt weird. It felt off in the past."
"Whereas this one," she elaborated, "it really feels like it fits us and it's more quiet and intimate."

Earlier this month, Becca slammed trolls who had been criticizing her for being "desperate" in choosing to turn the tables and propose marriage to Thomas Jacobs.
"We've seen a lot of love from people, but I've also seen comments where people are like, 'She's desperate. I would never allow a woman to propose to the man. I would never do this,'" Becca said.
"And it's like, 'Cool, that's you, but why as a female, why does it make me desperate to want to propose to somebody?' If Thomas, in a week, were to do the same exact thing, no one would say he's desperate."
Becca expressed how allegations she's desperate "just don't make sense" to her.
"The logic is just not there. Love is love, and every relationship, it's vastly different -- so why not let us do what works for us?" Becca shared.
"And I knew [Thomas] would be so appreciative and supportive of it, and that he would never be offended if the female proposed to the man. So it's like, 'Why should that matter, who does it?'"
Becca and Thomas plan to live in New York City for a few months this year and then settle down in San Diego, CA, long-term.

During an October episode of the "Talking It Out with Bachelor Nation" podcast, Thomas gushed of Becca, "I don't want to spend my life with anybody else... I wouldn't want to wake up next to anybody else."
On Bachelor in Paradise's seventh-season finale, Becca was shown breaking up with Thomas and crushing his heart before overnight Fantasy Suite dates because, despite having "an incredible start" to a relationship, Becca didn't want to leave The Bachelor franchise for the third time with a man unless she knew everything about him, including how he'd face adversity and real-life challenges.

However, the finale concluded with an update on Becca and Thomas' relationship, revealing how they had reunited after filming ended and were dating, "happy and in love."
During Becca and Thomas' appearance on "Talking It Out" last year, Becca revealed she's the one who tracked down Thomas' phone number and initiated their reunion.
"After we ended things, I think I waited a couple days. I didn't have my phone right away and he didn't have his phone right away, so I think I gave it two days," Becca said.
Becca thought she'd be the last person Thomas wanted to hear from, but Thomas insisted she's the one person he had been waiting to hear from.
Becca said she met up with Thomas in San Diego and they picked up right where they had left off, and Thomas told Hollywood Life that he had no hesitation or reservations about giving Becca another chance.
Becca also boasted about how Thomas is different from her past relationships because he's so passionate about a life with her and was prepared to fight "tooth and nail" to save their romance.
"He is so supportive and he's just funny and quirky in the cutest ways. Everything about him, I just felt safe with, unlike anything I had in the past. I was just like, 'This guy is my guy,'" Becca gushed.
Becca even told her mother last year, not long after Paradise ended, that she wanted to marry Thomas, who first competed on Katie Thurston's season of The Bachelorette in early 2021.

Becca had her heart broken by Arie on The Bachelor's 22nd season in 2018, when he decided to end their engagement because he was still in love with his runner-up, Lauren Burnham, who is now his wife and the mother of his three children.
Becca also had her very public breakup with Garrett in 2020.
The Bachelorette's upcoming nineteenth season starring Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia is set to premiere Monday, July 11 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
Bachelor in Paradise is going to return with its eighth season, hosted by Jesse Palmer, this Fall and air twice weekly on ABC.
