The Bachelorette alum Blake Horstmann has shut down rumors he's dating Becca Kufrin following her split from fiance Garrett Yrigoyen.

"Me and Becca are friends," Blake, 31, wrote to a fan during a Q&A session Monday on Instagram, according to Us Weekly.

"Let the woman be single for a while she don't need no damn man to be happy. She is living her best life."

Blake reportedly said there is "so much pressure on women to find a man," especially in Bachelor Nation, and he believes it's unnecessary and "ridiculous."

Although Becca and Blake, who competed on Becca's The Bachelorette season in 2018, aren't together, Blake confirmed earlier this month he and Becca do still keep in touch.

In fact, Blake said the pair spoke after Becca announced her split from Garrett in September.

"We've chatted a little bit. I told her I support her, and I hope she's doing well and everything, but it's just a friendship," Blake told Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti on the November 2 episode of their The Ben and Ashley I: Almost Famous Podcast.

"We have a good relationship. I think, for the most part, we've been friendly the whole time since even the finale. There's never been any kind of weirdness between us."

Blake, however, hasn't been in contact with Garrett, who went Instagram official with his new girlfriend Alex Farrar, a blonde and petite yoga instructor and Reiki practitioner, in late October.

"I haven't chatted with him about the relationship or anything, we haven't chatted in a bit," Blake shared on the Almost Famous podcast, according to Us.

"But I think everybody deserves happiness, so I hope this one sticks for him, I guess."

Blake wouldn't say Garrett moved on from Becca too quickly because people don't "know the timeline" of when Becca and Garrett's relationship fell apart and they decided to end their engagement.

Shortly after announcing her relationship with Garrett was over on September 1, Becca made a "last-minute decision" and moved to Los Angeles, CA, in September to embrace a "new adventure" in her life.

Since Becca is still single, her Bachelor Happy Hour podcast Rachel Lindsay told Us that she'd love to fix Becca up with a new guy.

"Now that she is not tied down, she can live her best life, which she's doing," Rachel, who starred on The Bachelorette's thirteenth season, told the magazine.

"And I think Becca is open to start dating again, but obviously coming out of an engagement, she wants to make sure that she takes her time, and she does right, unlike other people."

Becca previously confirmed on her podcast she and Garrett had slowly arrived at the decision to call it quits on their relationship "after many conversations," but a source told Us that Becca waited to announce the news in order to not be "reactive."

E! News first reported in early August that Becca and Garrett had called off their engagement after the pair was noticeably spending a lot of time apart.

"Their lifestyles don't mesh anymore. Garrett wants different things and they came to a realization that they aren't compatible anymore," a source told E! News of the couple, who celebrated two years together in May.

As for Becca's history with Blake, he finished as the runner-up on Becca's The Bachelorette edition behind Garrett, who proposed marriage on the show's August 2018 finale.

Becca and Blake's breakup was excruciating to watch considering Blake said he was madly in love with the show's leading lady at the time.

Blake was admittedly "blindsided" by Becca's decision because he appeared to be her frontrunner all season long.

"I truly thought that if it came down to me proposing, that she wouldn't say no," Blake told Entertainment Tonight in 2018. "I thought what we had was real."

Blake added it was "incredibly hard" to get over his heartbreak at first.

"It made for some really hard days, but I had a great support system. My family was amazing. We talked through a lot of things and they were there for me," he said at the time.

Becca starred on The Bachelorette after having her heart broken by Arie Luyendyk Jr. on The Bachelor's 22nd season, which wrapped in early 2018.
