The Bachelorette alum Blake Moynes has revealed he's willing to date a woman from Bachelor Nation after previously insisting he wants a normal, real-world relationship.

Blake, who competed on back-to-back The Bachelorette seasons and failed to find lasting love, said he "sees benefits" in dating a woman who's been on TV with a social-media following as well as someone without any fame or entertainment background.

"I see benefits in dating somebody from the world that really understands," Blake revealed during a recent appearance on the "Click Bait with Bachelor Nation" podcast co-hosted by Joe Amabile, Natasha Parker and Tia Booth.

"I have dated people outside [The Bachelor] world and people don't really get it when I post stuff. They kind of question things and they don't love it, and this happened once a couple of months ago, where [she] just wasn't into this whole thing I was doing in showing my face all the time on Instagram and stuff."

Blake said this person outside of Bachelor Nation "didn't love it" and so it was "a downfall."

"I also see people where if you're with somebody from this world, it's this comfort and supporting thing where you're both in the same thing and you can understand each other's work and how this all kind of happens," Blake explained.

But Blake also noted, "It's hard to find somebody in this world that fits. It's not that easy to do."

"I think I would like to have that, but it's not that simple," Blake shared.

On the other side of the coin, however, the Canadian wildlife manager mentioned how it would be nice to date a woman who's also passionate about wildlife conservation.

"I saw a few women during my recent trip working in the conservation space that after the trip, I was like, 'It would be so cool to find someone that's really aligned in this with me," Blake said.

"Because I thought they were attractive just in the way that they handled things and their passion for this stuff. I was like, 'I want to be around this more.'"

Blake has joked in recent months about possibly going on Bachelor in Paradise, but he also claimed on Instagram that it will probably never happen and he'd "like to not" find love that way again.

Blake also didn't seem interested in giving The Bachelor franchise another shot during a February appearance on "The Ben & Ashley I: Almost Famous Podcast," when he said he'd like to go back to dating "like in the old days" and potentially stumble across a woman "in-person" on any random occasion.

Blake also insisted on the "Talking It Out with Bachelor Nation" podcast in late November that he was "not thinking about" being on the franchise again and another reality TV stint sounded "hectic and exhausting" to him.

"I'll be dating in the real world when I'm ready, and I don't know when that will be," he noted at the time.

Blake acknowledged how viewers should be "very surprised" if they ever see him on Bachelor in Paradise again.

"One thing I did say to [a producer] was, 'I'm done, man. I'm done thinking I know I've found my person and coming out gunning for someone, I am done. I'm sitting back and not chasing again on this f-cking show -- ever. Like, I can't. I just can't,'" Blake explained on "Talking It Out."

Blake admitted he had put himself out there "too many times" and was "too bold in thinking" he knew exactly what he wants and would find it on a reality TV show.

"And then I get there and it all falls apart," Blake lamented. "And so my approach is completely different in life now. [It's], 'Let it come to me naturally, maybe in the real world...' I'm done."

Blake concluded, "I failed that way three times already and with the whole world watching. So let's try a different approach."

Blake first competed on The Bachelorette's sixteenth season for Clare Crawley and then Tayshia Adams in 2020.

After getting dumped, Blake appeared on Katie Thurston's edition of The Bachelorette, and the pair got engaged during the season finale. However, the pair announced their split in October 2021.

Katie previously hinted on social media that she and Blake were fighting too much during their six-month relationship and broke up due to their different communication styles.

While Katie suggested Blake was unable to make her happy, an insider told The Sun late last year that Katie's "outbursts eventually became too much" for Blake "to handle."

Katie went Instagram official with one of her Week 2 The Bachelorette eliminees, John Hersey, in late November 2021, just a few weeks after she announced her broken engagement to Blake.

Blake admitted he was "flabbergasted" and "speechless" about Katie and John's romance.

Because of how quickly Katie seemed to move on from their relationship, Blake told Mike Johnson and Bryan Abasolo on their podcast how he's convinced Katie had emotionally cheated on him.

But Katie and John have both insisted Katie never cheated and they only became romantically involved once Katie became single again after her split from Blake.

John, in fact, released a statement via Reddit late last year on Katie's behalf denying any "wrongdoing" on their part. John insisted at the time that his relationship with Katie was "ALWAYS PLATONIC."

John also complained about how Blake had handled his breakup with Katie in the press during a March appearance on the "Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe" podcast.

"What really pissed me off about that, like, listening to that podcast was when there started to be a narrative get painted that she was putting no effort in, and Blake was the only one putting effort in at the end," John said.

He added, "I watched her suffer at the end, before there was anything between us. And it just pissed me off."

Katie and John began living together in San Diego, CA, earlier this year, but they just confirmed their split earlier this week.
