The Bachelorette alum Charity Lawson has revealed why she was "emotional" and almost changed her mind about getting her breasts done at the last minute.

"It's honestly the best decision I've ever made for myself. I don't regret it at all," Charity insisted to the podcast's co-hosts, Bachelor in Paradise spouses Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt, during her joint interview with fiance Dotun Olubeko.

But that doesn't mean Charity didn't have moments of doubt or cold feet prior to getting plastic surgery.
"Pre-op, I had made the decision to get it done, and I was like, 'I'm getting it done.' But I don't think it really hit me until the night before," Charity recalled.
"We were obviously already in L.A. because this was right after [Joey Graziadei's The Bachelor 28] finale. So I got it done two days after."
Charity shared how she and Dotun were staying in an AirBnB together and she started to panic.
"I kept looking at Dotun, like, talking about it. I was going back and forth. I was like, 'Oh my god, it's too late for me to change my mind now. The surgery is literally tomorrow,'" Charity admitted.
"It was finally hitting me at that moment, and I was taking it in and having these, like -- it was kind of emotional!"
Charity said she looked at herself in the mirror, realizing her body would never look the same again.
"I was taking a last glance -- I know this is kind of weird to say, but -- at my body. I thought, 'This is the last time you're going to have this image of yourself before it changes,'" Charity shared.
But Charity said her surgery flew by and she was out of the operating room in 45 minutes.
RELATED LINK: 'THE BACHELORETTE' COUPLES NOW"It was a really quick surgery. I went under, thank God, because I would've not been able to be awake for that. But I was in and out, and the recovery was fairly easy," Charity gushed.
"It was just a weird feeling [post-op]... It's not pain, it's just more uncomfortable. And so that was kind of tricky to get used to, but Dotun was obviously by my side and was helping me take care of myself."
Charity said she's "grateful" for Dotun's support and how her overall experience was "a breeze."
Charity also praised her surgeon, who apparently had a holistic approach that Charity liked, "amazing" and conscientious.
"I know people have not had great experiences, and so I'm grateful for mine," Charity said.

Charity also acknowledged to Joe and Serena how she's well aware there's been a lot of "buzz" surrounding her breast augmentation.
"I kind of knew going into it [people would be] sharing and openly talking about it, obviously. I never want people to have to guess anything about me, and so I'm being transparent about it," Charity explained.

Charity went on to share why she had decided to go under the knife to begin with.
"I decided to get this done because it was really good timing in my life. I wanted this, I kid you not, for probably 10 years. When I first initially wanted it, it was probably in late high school or early college. I was like, 'I'm too young,'" Charity recalled.
"I tried to give myself some time because obviously my body was changing... and I was growing into it. I was figuring out if this was still something I wanted. It kind of died down."
An opportunity to have her breasts enlarged then presented itself to Charity earlier this year.
"I was like, 'Why not? This is the perfect time. I'm done with the majority or bulk of traveling a lot and being busy.' So I decided to get it done in time for the summer," Charity said.
"But the procedure was great, and I know there are some things around it, but... It's just a great new [chest] that I have!"

Charity previously shared on TikTok how Dotun had nothing to do with her decision and she chose to buy implants that would look "natural" on her "petite" frame.
After competing for Zach Shallcross' heart on The Bachelor's 27th season, Charity starred on The Bachelorette's 20th season and got engaged to Dotun during the season finale that aired in August 2023.
Shortly after The Bachelorette finished airing on ABC, Charity competed on Dancing with the Stars' 32nd season with pro partner Artem Chigvintsev, and the pair finished in fourth place in December. Charity also briefly went on tour with the show.
Charity has shared on social media how she and Dotun are planning two weddings, one in California in Fall 2025 and a second ceremony for Dotun's family in Lagos, Nigeria.
Charity explained in a February Q&A session via Instagram Stories that she and Dotun aren't rushing into getting married because they don't want a hectic and stressful planning process.

"I went from one TV show to another and Dotun and I are just now settling into normalcy and getting our bearings, which we are loving every second of it," Charity shared.
"This is a normal time frame. I want to enjoy and live out our engagement and it'll be here before you know it, as we have already started planning."
Charity and Dotun also revealed in November that they're in therapy together and are doing everything it takes to stay strong and healthy as a couple.
"[Dotun] is well onboard [with our sessions]. I don't want to toot my own horn, but they, like, our therapist is personally, like, really proud of us because we don't really have, like, problems," Charity explained to Life & Style at the time.
"It's just, like, we're doing things to be proactive, to, like, stay ahead of, like, I guess something going wrong in the in the future."
