"A lot of y'all were asking me more about my ADHD diagnosis and you really resonated with me talking about it briefly. People were asking what I take and how I got diagnosed and I really don't want to share what I'm taking personally because I'm not a doctor and I don't want to give any type of medical advice in that way," Hannah began, according to BachelorNation.com.
"I think you definitely should go to your doctor and use what they're telling you to use. You can also do research on your own."
While Hannah declined to reveal her new medication, she said it's still "great to talk about" ADHD and its effects.
"Having dialogue with other people about it also really helps... because it can feel really isolating sometimes when you're like, 'Why can't I get any of this done and why can't I form sentences?'" the Season 15 The Bachelorette star explained.
"You feel dumb or lazy and it's not that, we just have to figure out ways to set up systems for ourselves. For me, I have notes everywhere on my phone. I could probably be a little more organized but that is really hard for me, so to-do lists are really important to me."
In terms of whether Adam has shown up for her since learning this news, Hannah shared, "Adam is so great. I didn't realize, but he had been reading about ADHD and how to be with someone who has ADHD. We hadn't discussed it, but he had been reading about why I do all these things."
Hannah reportedly said she's thankful to have supportive, patient and understanding friends and family in her corner.
"As far as my diagnosis goes, I've probably had ADHD my entire life, but it's different for men and women and shows up in different ways," Hannah continued on Instagram Stories.
"I was always a high achiever and be my best, so I tried super, super hard. It always took me longer than everyone else to do things, but I just wanted to do well. I was a high achiever, so it didn't really catch on."

And then as the former beauty queen and Dancing with the Stars winner got older, she said it became more difficult to manage and navigate through her life without the structure of school or parental guidance in her home.
"My therapist was the first that kind of questioned it and then I saw a psychiatrist who said that's probably why I was having some of these problems," Hannah recalled.
"For me, I was like, 'Oh, gosh, another diagnosis. What is wrong with me?' But when I saw my brain scan with Dr. Amen, I think that helped me a lot."
Hannah went on saying, "All the things that I struggle with, like PTSD, depression, sleep disorders, ADHD -- all of those affect each other. So I have been trying to find a way to balance it all."
Hannah shared how finding a doctor and therapist for medical advice has been "so important" to her, adding "I don't want to be a person you go to for medical advice, but I will share what's helped me."
Hannah and her model boyfriend, who began dating in early 2021 and moved in together in Santa Monica, CA, last year, moved across the country to a new home in Nashville, TN, last month.
In late January, Hannah told Us Weekly that she and Adam had "talked about" getting engaged.
"But I am so great where we're at," Hannah shared at the time.

Hannah, who found fame when she competed on Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor, apparently doesn't want to repeat the hasty decisions of her past.
"It's actually so funny [that] I was on this TV show -- I was on The Bachelorette," Hannah joked with the magazine.
"But maybe that taught me I'm just not in a rush for anything; I'm really happy with where I am at."
Hannah's 2019 The Bachelorette season ended with her choosing aspiring country singer Jed Wyatt over runner-up Tyler Cameron and third-place finisher Peter Weber.
Hannah accepted a marriage proposal from Jed during The Bachelorette finale, but their relationship quickly fell apart and Hannah chose to call off their engagement once she learned Jed had a girlfriend back home in Nashville while he was filming the reality dating series.
While Hannah wants to take her time in her relationship with Adam, she gushed about how he's "the best" partner she could ask for.
"He's just, like, the most encouraging, optimistic person," Hannah gushed.
"I think I can kind of be, like, assessing the situation... I'm a little bit more fear-based, sometimes. And he is just so great at encouraging me and just celebrating the life that we have together."

Hannah also said Adam, whom she met on a dating app, is "the best dog dad" to Wally, the dog they adopted together, and he makes her feel so comfortable and confident in herself.
Hannah was first romantically linked to the model in January 2021. Since then, the couple has enjoyed traveling, and Hannah said Adam provides her "a safe and grounding place to always come home to."
"We live together great. He's so great," Hannah noted.

Hannah told Tamron Hall in April 2022 how she has "such a mature relationship" with Adam after they both went on different journeys to find themselves and what they want out of life.
"We are people that do not find wholeness through each other but through becoming whole people as individuals that can then amplify each other's growth," Hannah said on Tamron's talk show.
"And that is something that I don't think that I've ever had, is somebody that is equally encouraged and motivated by continuing to challenge and get better and move forward and grow in life as I am," she elaborated.
Hannah said she's "really proud" of her romance, adding, "[I] can really see the progress I've made just in how I view my relationship and how I view my relationship with myself."
Once her engagement to Jed ended, Hannah attempted a second shot at love with Tyler, who instead moved on with supermodel Gigi Hadid.
Hannah also appeared on Peter's The Bachelor season with confusing lingering feelings, which resulted in the pilot and Hannah hooking up in early 2020 while Season 24 of The Bachelor was airing on ABC.
Hannah then quarantined with Tyler and some of his friends in his hometown of Jupiter, FL, for several weeks in 2020, but their relationship never became more than friends.
Both individuals have insisted, in fact, they never even kissed during that intimate time together, and Hannah later admitted that she felt like a "backup" option for the former general contractor from Florida -- similar to a pro athlete sitting on the bench, waiting to play in a game.
Hannah claimed Tyler's last text to her was, "Well... if you rock with me, you rock with me. If you don't, you don't."
Hannah went on to win Dancing with the Stars' 28th edition after her The Bachelorette stint. She also wrote a memoir, God Bless This Mess: Learning to Live and Love Through Life's Best (and Worst) Moments, which was released in November 2021.
Hannah's follow-up to her first book, God Bless This Messy Journal, hit shelves in April of last year.
