On the Tuesday, October 22 episode of her "Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe" podcast, Kaitlyn shared with her guest, country singer Jordan Davis, how she felt like she had a near-death experience on former NFL player Todd Anderson's "Beat the Heat" podcast.

On "Beat the Heat," Todd interviews guests in a functional Sisu sauna that starts at 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Todd turns up the heat every five minutes until it reaches 230 degrees, and guests are challenged to withstand 30 minutes in the sauna while being asked rapid-fire trivia questions.

"If you get a trivia question wrong, they put water on [the rocks]," Kaitlyn told Jordan on her "Off the Vine" podcast.

"I almost died! I'm not being dramatic! I think I almost died."

The Bachelor alum admitted she "started blacking out" during the trivia game and she only "lasted 17 minutes" total.

"I'm very competitive. I'm not being dramatic, I was gagging. I was like, 'I'm going to throw up. I'm going to faint.' [I was] like, 'I'm not well. I need out,'" Kaitlyn recalled.

"And [Todd] was like, 'No, you're fine.' And I was like, 'No, I'm actually not!"

Kaitlyn joked about how Todd should've started their chat with the "juicy questions" because she didn't last very long.

"It was getting better as you go, but I was like, 'I need out of here now!'" Kaitlyn continued.

"I couldn't even see straight. I don't know how hot it was, but it was definitely over 200 degrees."

Kaitlyn said Todd asked her a lot of questions about hockey, which were facts she thought she'd know, but she was just blurting out random answers while in survival mode.

"I actually yelled like, 'Ow,' at one point because he poured so much water on it that the steam was like hurting my skin, and I was like, 'This is torture,'" Kaitlyn said.

"I was like, 'First of all, you're making me sit here in a bathing suit, and so I already feel exposed. I have no makeup on my face, and now I've got furnace face.'"

Kaitlyn elaborated on how she was "pouring sweat" during her interview that took place in a "fiery atmosphere."

The Season 11 The Bachelorette star quipped, "I couldn't answer questions properly, and I was talking about how competitive I am -- yet I could only last 17 minutes."

But Kaitlyn acknowledged how there are people who managed to last the full 30 minutes on Todd's podcast.

Kaitlyn was hoping to match the performance of Season 15 The Bachelorette star Hannah Brown, for example, on the "Beat the Heat" podcast.

"[Hannah is] like, a beast. She won Special Forces... She lasted 30 minutes, and so I was like, 'I will too!' But I didn't," Kaitlyn said with a laugh.

"I was like, 'If she can do it, I can do it!' But I could not."

Kaitlyn said that when she exited the sauna after doing the "Beat the Heat" podcast, she pretty much collapsed on the floor.

"I was really going to vomit," Kaitlyn insisted. "And then after my body cooled down, I got in the cool plunge. I could have stayed in there all day. I think it's the Canadian in me!"

Kaitlyn competed on Chris Soules' season of The Bachelor before starring on The Bachelorette's eleventh season.

Kaitlyn got engaged to Shawn Booth but they split in late 2018. Kaitlyn then began dating The Bachelorette 14 alum Jason Tartick in early 2019.

Kaitlyn and Jason got engaged in May 2021, but they announced their breakup in August 2023.

Kaitlyn is rumored to be dating The Bachelorette 16 winner, Tayshia Adams' ex-fiance Zac Clark. They were first spotted partying together for New Year's Eve at the start of 2024.

Jason was most recently linked to TikTok star Kat Stickler, but the pair announced earlier this month they had called it quits on their relationship.
