Evans said he was the victim of a "reality-star-on-reality-star crime" and suffered a concussion.
Rappaport, who appeared on MTV Canada's Grand Benders show, reportedly tossed a brick from a second story balcony in Evans' direction when he was exiting a bar in Grand Bend, Ontario, last week.
Rappaport was arrested for assault with a weapon, while his son was also taken into custody for obstructing a peace officer.
Evans, a 32-year-old single dad from London, Ontario, now plans to sue Rappaport, according to TMZ. He competed on The Bachelorette's most recent eleventh season starring Kaitlyn Bristowe but didn't make it far at all.
