Desiree Hartsock and new-husband Chris Siegfried's wedding was, although somewhat cliche, "a dream come true" for the ninth-season The Bachelorette star.

The chapel was decorated in a "classy and vintage" fashion with bouquets of ranunculus, peonies and vines in order to bring Seattle to California, which Hartsock calls both "home." There were also rustic pieces featured throughout, including an 11-foot old-fashioned bar at the reception.
"No red roses," Hartsock joked, "they're not my favorite."
For the ceremony, Hartsock reportedly donned a "dramatic" ivory lace gown she had co-designed with Maggie Sottero, matching it to Badgley Mischka strappy heels and jewelry from her line Desiree for KV Bijou. She then switched into a more vintage-inspired, classic dress.
"I wanted them to be unique. It came down to imagining what I would look like when I saw Chris," Hartsock explained. "He knew better than to peek at the sketches!"
For a pre-wedding gift, Hartsock gave Siegfried the journal of poems he had written for her and given to her during one of their last dates of The Bachelorette season. Inside were love notes Hartsock had jotted down during their 20-month romance, and her intent was for the both of them "to write to each other" going forward.
Hartsock walked down the aisle with her father Tony to "Feels Like Home" by Chantal Kreviazuk, according to Us.
"I was nervous, but when I saw him, I felt peaceful," she said.
The couple then said their "I dos" in front of 130 guests in a short 15-minute Christian ceremony.
Many members of the Bachelor family were reportedly there: Bridesmaid Daniella McBride, Brooks Forester, Ali Fedotowsky, Jason Mesnick, Molly Mesnick, Michael Garofola, and Zak Waddell.
"It wasn't weird having Brooks there," Hartsock insisted of the man who had broken her heart by brutally dumping her at the end of her season. "He and Chris are best friends."
Hartsock and Siegfried reportedly exchanged their own vows, which took them months to write and perfect.

Siegfried's vows developed from notes he had written three days after proposing to Hartsock in Antigua in May 2013.
"I'd put down what I was thinking at the time, so I pieced that together," he told Us, adding that he had given his then-fiancee a little preview. "I had been sending her text messages through the last few weeks."
"You know me: I'm Sensitive Sally," Hartsock teared up. "Chris just blows me away."
Guests were then reportedly shuttled to Redondo Beach Historic Library, where blush and cream floral arrangements and long wooden tables awaited them. The couple's first dance was to "Love and Affection" by Matt White, who performed the song live thanks to a request Siegfried had put in on Twitter.
"I'm patting myself on the back for that one," Siegfried bragged.
"It was special," Hartsock noted. "He nailed it!"
Former The Bachelorette bachelor Tasos Hernandez got the deejaying job for the reception, and Hartsock said they definitely "broke it down" on the dance floor.

In terms of what's next for the love birds, Hartsock is hoping to have "three or four kids," according to the magazine.
"Chris is like, 'Just wait till you have one,'" Hartsock said, adding that she's looking forward to her future with Siegfried.
"In a relationship, you're always learning about someone, trying to figure out how they love, how they feel, how they think. I think it's the same with marriage," she explained. "You continue getting stronger and growing with each other. I'm excited for that."
