Booth ended up proposing marriage to Bristowe, which she was thrilled to accept. The newly-engaged pair is now embracing their relationship in public and dealing with the aftermath of a very controversial season.
Bristowe and Booth talked to Reality TV World on Monday about their experience on the show, their love and what's next. Below is a portion of their interview. Click here and here to read more.
Reality TV World: Do you think you guys would consider/enjoy having your wedding televised on ABC?
Kaitlyn Bristowe: We would consider it.

Shawn Booth: Yeah, we would consider it. It's something we'd talk about.
Kaitlyn Bristowe: We'd definitely sit down and have a conversation about it.
Reality TV World: What are your plans career-wise now, especially since you're considering a move? Kaitlyn, will you continue teaching dance or maybe consider a job in entertainment thanks to the fame the show brought you? And Shawn, will you be sticking with personal training?
Kaitlyn Bristowe: I don't think I will take the entertainment route. I don't know. I think we both are involved with fitness, and I think that's something we could possibly do together as well.
Shawn Booth: Right. And that's also something we're going to figure out in the next month.

Kaitlyn Bristowe: We need to figure out where we're going to live first, and then decide.
Reality TV World: I remember reading something Ali Fedotowsky wrote, that the Bachelorette tends to pretty much know her Final 2 or 3 guys right from the start and she pretty much has to go through the motions just to get to that end point. Kaitlyn, did you ever feel that way, especially since you knew how you felt about Shawn early on?
Kaitlyn Bristowe: Yeah, I think you can tell who you have the strongest connections with right off the bat.
Reality TV World: The format was really different this time around with you starring as the Bachelorette. Do you feel you lost something by not being able to visit your Final 2 guys' actual hometowns? Since their families were flown out to Utah, you didn't really get to see them in their element or insight into what their daily lives might be like.
Kaitlyn Bristowe: No, I think I did see him in his environment because he was with his family. I don't know what we would've done differently if we were in their city. I think it would've been the same.

Reality TV World: Were you surprised you didn't travel more this season? It seemed like you were in Ireland forever. (Laughs)
Kaitlyn Bristowe: I wasn't mad about it. I love Ireland, and honestly, did you see the places I went last season? (Laughs) There was still a lot of travel this time around for me I thought.
Reality TV World: Were you happy to have the final Rose Ceremony at The Bachelor mansion instead of some crazy exotic destination or something? Was that the dream proposal scenario for you?
Kaitlyn Bristowe: I just liked it because it was where I met Shawn.
Shawn Booth: Yeah, I loved that.
