Nayte apparently brought Michelle home to see his stomping grounds in the place where he was born and raised, Winnipeg, the capital and largest city of the province of Manitoba in Canada.

Nayte took to his Instagram Story on Saturday and claimed, "There's nothing better [than Tim Hortons]," according to Us Weekly.
Nayte, who currently resides in Austin, TX, and Michelle, who is from Woodbury, MN, stopped at the famous Canadian coffee chain for food during Michelle's first trip to his home country.

And then on Sunday, Michelle posted a series of hilarious videos of herself ice skating with Nayte and one of his pals in Winnipeg. Nayte reposted many of the clips on his own Instagram Story.
During a mid-December 2021 episode of the "Click Bait with Bachelor Nation" podcast, Nayte revealed he had left Canada about 10 years ago and moved to Washington before finally settling down in Austin with no job.
"When I packed up and bought a one-way ticket two days before graduation... and I just packed one suitcase. I didn't know anything -- no job, no nothing, no anything -- and just moved to Austin," Nayte said.
"I didn't know what was going to happen, but I just trusted myself," he added.
Nayte is the only member of his family currently living in the United States.

Nayte and Michelle reunited some time after January 8.
On January 8, Nayte tweeted, "I miss Michelle," to which the Season 18 The Bachelorette star jokingly replied, "I miss Percy [Nayte's dog]. And his dad... A little bit little."

Nayte and Michelle got engaged on The Bachelorette's Season 18 finale that aired last month on ABC.
Nayte revealed on The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose that he planned to move to Minnesota in the next two or three months and the lovebirds had already begun house-hunting.

In fact, The Bachelor family gifted Michelle and Nayte a down payment on their first house together. (Michelle was caught whispering to Nayte on After the Final Rose that the check was for $200,000).
It's likely Michelle traveled to Canada to meet Nayte's extended family, and maybe some of his hometown friends.
However, Nayte and Michelle have already won over each other's parents.
During the After the Final Rose special, Michelle's mom, LaVonne Young, shared, "We are in love with Nayte. Absolutely in love with Nayte. You know, Michelle... shared one of the texts that you sent her, and I won't say -- but it was beautiful. It was so heartwarming. It was so -- it made me cry."
Nayte's mother Leanna also revealed that she and LaVonne had been communicating "after each episode" aired.

Not long after their engagement aired on ABC, Michelle and Nayte spent Christmas together in Minnesota, where Michelle works as an elementary school teacher.
Michelle gushed to People in December about how she and Nayte "have fun together" and can have deep conversations about controversial issues and more.
"We vent to each other, we check each other and make sure that we're positive," Michelle said. "We dance, sing, goof around, all of it."

Nayte echoed that sentiment and noted how their relationship just "flows" effortlessly.
"I've never met anybody even, like, remotely close to him because he just has so many layers," Michelle shared of her fiance. "And even now, like on a daily basis, I'm like, 'What did I do to deserve this? How did I get lucky?'"
"He tells me how he feels about me every day, multiple times," she added.
Michelle also shared with People, "I fall more in love every day."
"I was fortunate enough to grow up in a family with a healthy marriage and I thought, 'I'm not going to give up until I have that.' He's my person," she said. "And I didn't know I could love at this level."
And Nayte believes their relationship is going to last because they have the type of love everyone searches for.
"Every day, we'll just catch each other in just this, like, flow of emotion," Nayte said last year.

"It's just like, 'Holy crap, we are each other's. This is our life. This is actually forever.' We actually have a connection that is forever."
The couple also shared at the time how they were planning to marry in "the near future," maybe Summer 2022.
