ABC has announced 25 eligible bachelors must choose between two beautiful ladies -- the charming Britt Nilsson or the wise-cracking, fun-loving Kaitlyn Bristowe -- on Night 1 to serve as Season 11's Bachelorette, which premieres with a two-night event on Monday, May 18 from 9-11PM ET/PT and Tuesday, May 19 from 8-9PM ET/PT.

The show will then return to its regular time slot of Mondays from 8-10PM ET/PT beginning on May 25.

The lucky woman to become the season's only star will travel the world with her suitors to Marseille, France; Venice and Verona, Italy; New York City, NY; San Antonio, TX; Killarney, Ireland; and Brussels and Ghent, Belgium.

"There will be more fireworks, surprises and drama than ever, as well as the most unpredictable, sexy, emotional, over-the-top fun with more stunning jaw-dropping moments. Bachelor Nation will be taken on a romantic rollercoaster ride of a season like no other," ABC said in a statement.

During The Bachelorette's eleventh-season debut, host Chris Harrison will greet Britt and Kaitlyn, and then the two women will stand side by side as the limos arrive one at a time full of potential partners. According to the network, Britt will be "beaming in a strapless, flowing, white gown as a tower of confidence," while Kaitlyn will look "exquisite in a glittering navy gown" although she's "trying her best to hide her nerves."

Each man will attempt to make a lasting impression. Some suitors will give both women equal attention, while others make it no secret which woman they'd prefer to be The Bachelorette star. One man will make an immediate connection with Britt, another will open his shirt to show off his "Love Man" alter-ego, and a fitness trainer will bring balloons to offer up a memorable high-pitched compliment to both ladies.

Kaitlyn will struggle to remain cool as she watches Britt handle the stressful situation with ease and grace. However, one "cool, self-assured man" will whisper in Kaitlyn's ear, telling her that he's only competing for her heart. Kaitlyn will then find a new, empowering confidence and feel comfortable enough to take control.

The 25 eligible bachelors will try their hardest to get recognized and be memorable with crazy stints like a cupcake bar, a hot tub car and lap dances for both women. Before entering the cocktail party, the women will be notified the men will be picking only one of them to continue on.

Kaitlyn will then walk into the party and utilize her sense of humor to make light of the awkward gathering. Britt, on the other hand, will put her heartfelt sincerity on display to win over some of the gentlemen. As the bachelors fight for alone time, Britt and Kaitlyn square off trying to win over as many of the suitors as possible.

After a while, Chris Harrison will step into the room and inform the men they must vote for the woman they'd like to continue dating. Once the votes are tallied, tension will fill the room and one of the two lovely ladies will be forced to go home. One suitor will apparently get drunk and make a huge scene, disrespecting other bachelors and causing Chris to break it up.

The sole Bachelorette will then reveal herself to the men, who applaud and cheer. But the men who voted for the losing lady might have to go home too!

The Bachelorette will do her best to get to know the guys better, and one man confesses he voted for the other woman, however, he's still open to explore whether they might have a connection. The winner will also snag her first kiss of the season with a nervous suitor who expresses how happy he is that she was selected to star on the series.

Chris Harrison will then bring in the coveted first-impression rose, after which a motivated entrepreneur shares the importance of his daughter. But the guy who gets the rose made a strong impression on the Bachelorette right out of the limo, and he'll also receive a kiss.

The season's first Rose Ceremony will then commence, but one man interrupts the process to share a "surprising decision." At the end of then night, only 19 men will remain.

The Bachelorette left standing will embark on an adventure of a lifetime this season. Kaitlyn or Britt will head off on romantic, fun, challenging and exotic dates to many different locations.

In Los Angeles, CA, the men will box an undefeated champion, Laila Ali, and then deliver stand-up comedy in front of a live audience and famous comedian Amy Schumer at the Improv. The guys will also get a wake-up call when world-class sumo wrestlers use gongs to set the next group date in motion.

The remaining group will then embark on a trip to Manhattan, where a rap battle will take place under the guidance of Doug E. Fresh and then the Bachelorette will have a very romantic date at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. In addition, a group of men will have to audition for a role in the Broadway musical "Aladdin." The talented individual will earn the opportunity to act alongside Kaitlyn or Britt onstage.

The next destination, San Antonio, will host a two-step dance competition as well as a Mariachi serenade for the Bachelorette. After that, it's a trip to Ireland.

According to ABC, the dates will be filled with "explosive revelations and drama" as the group travels to Dublin and stops at Christ Church Cathedral. In Ireland, the Bachelorette and one guy will enjoy a private concert by The Cranberries. Everyone's time in Ireland will then move on to Killarney, where they'll be able to kiss the Blarney Stone at the Blarney Castle.

A list of The Bachelorette's eleventh-season bachelors will be released at a later date.
