The Bachelorette host Chris Harrison says he gave controversial bachelor Luke Parker multiple opportunities to make amends during the filming of the season's The Men Tell All special, however Luke declined.

"He never really got there, I don't think."

According to Chris, he eventually decided to approach his "hot seat" interview with Luke similar to how he handles his children.
"I think being a dad really came into play tonight, it really came in handy," he told People.
"I could have taken Luke to task, I could have cut him down at any time and gotten contentious. But I felt like I was going to get more from him and get more out of him if I kept my cool."
Hannah and Luke's The Bachelorette relationship ended over an explosive discussion about sex before marriage that took place when the couple was enjoying what was intended to be an overnight Fantasy Suite date together in Crete, Greece.
"Sex is an incredible thing and it's a beautiful thing -- only when it's within the guidelines of marriage... Marriage should be honored and the marriage bed should be kept pure," Luke told Hannah during the date.
Luke noted neither one of them was a virgin but he had been abstaining from sex for the past three or four years.
"I just want to make sure you're not going to be sexually intimate in your other relationships here. I totally have all the trust in the world for you, but at the same time, I want to know we're on the same page," Luke told Hannah.
"If you told me you're having sex or you had sex with one or multiple of these guys, I would be wanting to go home -- 100 percent."

RELATED LINK: 'THE BACHELORETTE' COUPLES NOWHannah expressed she was "mad" because Luke didn't have the right to question or judge her, given he's not her husband. She accused him of being too proud, which is also a sin.
Luke then attempted to retract some of his statements by saying if Hannah did in fact have sex on the show with multiple guys -- which would be "a crazy scenario" or "a slipup," according to Luke -- he'd be willing work through it with her.
Hannah didn't appreciate how Luke said "willing" since she's "a grown woman" who can make her own decisions.
"To make me feel like you would look at me differently and judge me and make me feel like you would not think of me as a woman of faith like I am... you're holding people to a standard you don't even live by," Hannah said.
Hannah then told Luke that he was not going to be her husband and he needed to leave. Luke thought Hannah "owed" it to him to allow him to speak, but that just made her more furious.
"I don't owe you anything!" Hannah yelled in last week's episode. "I have bent over backwards for this relationship."
Before Luke departed, Hannah confirmed she did have sex in the Fantasy Suite.
"I have had sex. Yeah. And Jesus still loves me. From obviously how you feel, me f-cking in a windmill, you probably want to leave," Hannah told Luke.

The Bachelorette star went on to tell the cameras, "I didn't just go to the Fantasy Suite. I f-cked in a windmill. And guess what?! We did it a second time."
Luke asked Hannah if they could pray together before he left, but she said, "No" and flipped him the middle finger on his way out.
Hannah apparently ended The Men Tell All's filming less frustrated with Luke than Chris -- and feeling thankful for the belief that would be "the last time" she had to deal with him.
"I think it was good to know that it was really the last time that I would have to have interaction with him and be able to say my piece about what I've been able to reflect on and what I've learned from the relationship that I had with him," she told People after the filming.
However, unbeknownst to Hannah, The Men Tell All filming didn't end up being the final time she had to interact with The Bachelorette bachelor.
Last Monday, Hannah and Luke got into a fight on Twitter as The Bachelorette's Fantasy-Suite episode aired, with neither one backing down from their stance on sex before marriage.
The exchange began when Hannah tweeted out some jokes about her Fantasy Suite dates, saying "to the windmill, to the wall" about her time with Peter Weber -- in which she admitted to having sex with him twice -- and saying Jed Wyatt brought "the wood" to their date. (Hannah later clarified "the wood" meant a wooden guitar).
"I would love to tweet more, but it's tough watching something that I take so seriously be made fun of so easily," Luke tweeted around that time.

Luke then picked a fight with Hannah on Twitter.
"@AlabamaHannah The difference in how we view sin is seen in the response, I'm weeping at mine and you're laughing at yours. All sin stings. My heart hurts for both of us," Luke wrote.
Hannah replied, "Time and time again jesus loved and ate with 'sinners' who laughed. and time and time again he rebuked 'saints' that judged. where do you fall Luke?"

Hannah tweeted in response, "I have never said that i find my sin funny. i'm not going to [be] lectured on appropriate emotional responses by a guy who threw deli meat in a guys lap."
Hannah was referencing the moment Luke threw a pile of bologna into fellow bachelor Garrett Powell's lap during a previous group date. Not only did Luke toss lunch meat at Garrett, but he also screamed in the golf pro's face.
"The devil wants to shame sin," Hannah added in a tweet. "God dealt with shame when he dealt with sin, so i will not allow someone who comes in the name of God to bring me something that God has taken off me."
"Your tweets about the windmill and the wood were enough," Luke replied, "it's not about the action it's about the response. If you want to talk about it, you know how to get ahold of me."

Luke also tweeted that watching The Bachelorette this season has caused him "to truly mourn" over his sin and praise Jesus "for his incredible sacrifice." Luke insisted he's not laughing but rather "repenting."
And Luke didn't stop there. On Tuesday morning, he tweeted out a link to a blog posting written by his sister-in-law's father Bucky Kennedy -- who is a preacher with his own ministry -- about whether Jesus still loves a Christian if the believer has sex outside of marriage.
The posting reads in part, "Does Jesus still love Christians who've had sex outside of marriage? Absolutely! His love is unconditional. But the real question we should be discussing is not if sex outside of marriage diminishes Jesus' love for a Christian, but what it says about a believer's love for Him. Jesus said, 'If you love Me, you will keep my commandments' (John 14:15). And God's instructions regarding sex are extremely clear."
Bucky is the father of Hannah Parker, who is married to Luke's brother Mike Parker and was the person who originally nominated Luke for The Bachelorette.
In his blog posting, titled "The Bible and The Bachelorette," Bucky also seemed to admit Luke had been judging Hannah on last week's The Bachelorette episode -- an admission Luke has denied.
However, Bucky defended The Bachelorette bachelor by quoting a Bible verse that says God expects Christians to raise questions when other Christians' actions are out of line with His word.
