JJ Lane and Clint Arlis did a lot of talking on The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All, but fans are probably still confused about their bromance and motives for appearing on the show.

"So much for clarity on the bizarre BFFs-turned-enemies situation. While JJ claimed most of what he and Clint talked about was actually [Kaitlyn Bristowe], Clint took the opportunity to try to defend himself calling out [Joshua Alders] who told Kaitlyn about a few of the guys' possible ill intentions. 'This wasn't about Josh finds a [husband] for Kaitlyn. It's about her deciding who's right for her,'" Harrison quoted Arlis saying in a recent interview with TV Guide.
Arlis had a very serious look on his face throughout the special, and with conviction, confirmed he's not gay despite rumors and the memorable "Brokeback Bachelor" storyline on the show.
"Clint just seems angry at the world. He's uncomfortable with himself and it radiated; he had this awkward vibe," said the show host. "The whole Clint and JJ [relationship] I still don't get."
But Harrison's opinion of Lane is apparently a positive one now. Viewers will see Lane again when he appears on this summer's edition of Bachelor in Paradise.

"I hate to bust the thought of who he is, but he's not a bad guy. He's a proud, strong man who stands for his convictions and I think sometimes his passion could be misguided and he can be misread," Harrison shared. "But I actually think he's a pretty good guy."
Speaking of good guys and Bachelor in Paradise, Harrison threw a big compliment Jared Haibon's way.
"Jared had perhaps one of the hardest breakups this season and it's clear that his feelings for Kaitlyn didn't just go away when he got into the car to leave. He's one of the nicest guys we've ever had on our show, and thankfully you'll get to see a lot more of him when he joins the rest of the cast in paradise less than two weeks from now," Harrison wrote in his Yahoo! TV blog.
"You will see the same great guy, and the women in paradise realize what an amazing catch he is," he additionally told TV Guide about Haibon. "That's the beauty of Paradise just because he didn't have it with one person, doesn't mean there aren't other options. Although I wish we could get rid of the beard, but baby steps!"
